"I bought a car, it got stuck in limp mode on my way home. I was very short on cash so left it at my house for a couple months until I could afford any repairs. I drove it to AutoHouse to be diagnosed and they told me it's rusted and not worth fixing, they also broke one of my break lines in the process. They charged me $150 for labor. I left with no more info on my car and one part broken. Whether this part was close to breaking or not, I felt this was pretty messed up and certainly not what my typical mechanic (Suburban Tire in Glendale Heights) would do, but still gave them the money. Victory came to pick my car up but couldn't because I hadn't had the car registered to me yet. I told AutoHouse I would have the registration changed and they "warned" me that Brian would not like this and might charge me storage until I get it. Funny, because I drove the car there and would have driven it back to sit in my driveway if my brake line was not broken... I guess I'll see if they try to charge me storage."
