"Went there with a broken tooth, emergency situation. They evaluated it and said that I needed a crown, till now everything is normal. My insurance is PPO and Bright Dental is part of the network, so they should know all the expenses. The lady told me that the insurance might not cover your broken tooth so you will pay everything out of your pocket, and continued, the insurance companies usually try to deny any payments. Asked her to call the insurance, she said it'll take long time on the phone and they have to ask another doctors so it is not a good idea to call them. Every time I gave a suggestion that might work, she gave an excuse not to do it. Then she suggested to make a full mouth exam so the insurance company will approve the coverage. I'm like what the heck? I'm here in an emergency situation where I have a broken tooth, why would you do a full mouth Xray and evaluation?? Is that to fool the insurance company instead of treating my single broken tooth? I was so mad and left the clinic without treatment. I'm disappointed with the way they treated me, especially when I called my insurance. The agent on the phone was so nice and said that, everything is clear in your policy and said that they could have done the work and eventually, we will send the approval. He stated that he will call them to explain my policy to them. They will call me back, but I'm not going to go to them any more. Thay can make their money somewhere else, not fooling the insurance company through me. Please be careful and pay attention to what they tell you if you decide to go to them."

"All of my sister-in-laws children started going there last summer. My nephew (her former patient) has PHACE syndrome, and due to his pre-existing condition is only eligible for medicaid. When there was a problem with their application, they had to appeal and fight for him to continue receiving medical care. As a result, until now (October) the appeal wasn't granted, and he wasn't covered so he missed a six month check up. (dental). On Saturday morning my nephew woke up complaining of pain in his gums. He also had caps put on the four of his front teeth at about the age of three due to his medications eating them away. I was watching him, so I helped brush his teeth. He had a ball above his tooth! I had helped him brush his teeth the night before and it wasn't there, so I was a bit panicked. I told my in-law, and when she got home, she called Dr. Hanna's Emergency line. (My nephew has health problems, and an infection ANYWHERE IN THE HEAD especially due to his teeth is a very serious matter). We called the emergency line on a Saturday. She told my sister to call back on Monday, that if there was a "ball" it meant it was there for a while, and there was no rush!!! What kind of doctor would disregard an infection in the head of a child who has heart problems, and health problems?! She didn't even offer antibiotics or anything!!! When my sister told her she believed he needed antibiotics, she told her to go to the ER if she was that worried about it. I have never seen my sister so angry when she got off the phone. What kind of Emergency line was this?! She WAS a great dentist until my nephew needed her for more than just a "check-up", now I don't think our family can give her a low enough mark to reflects what she deserves..."
