"I love the new renovations they made! The new building is beautiful. The staff is beyond great and the doctors are phenomenal. All the dental hygienists have been super gentle and understanding (my daughter cries every time)."

"I really wish I would have read through more of these reviews before we brought our 4 year old daughter here. The initial visit was okay I was a little upset at the prospect of leaving her by herself but I kind of understood it could be distracting to her. The initial consultation I was told she would need two crowns on the back bottom molars. Fast forward to a couple weeks later and my husband takes her they continually refer to her as the patient instead of her name after ensuring me that their pediatric office and this is their specialty. And then make her wait in the waiting room for an hour and a half while she's partially sedated and children are coming out with bloody gauze and crying and screaming.........not sure why you don't have a separate waiting area. Tell me why my daughter came home with six crowns, yes you read that right, and one of the teeth she was supposed to get a crown on they didn't even do a crown on that one because of a spacer that was already in place during the consultation and didn't say anything about it then. There was never any estimation of cost given at the initial appointment nor was my husband given anything except told what his deductible was to pay. I will never take any of my children back to this place and will pay out of network cost if I have to because this was one of the worst experiences and I'm still waiting for my bill..... I highly recommend Grand Dental in channahon as we went there first for an emergency tooth extraction for my daughter and then thought we would try and pay the in network and try Southwest but I highly caution you to not. Fail at communication, fail at relating to my child, and not making her comfortable."

"Personable staff members. My kids are comfortable when they are here and given reassurance that all is well. I like that they don't rush and have patience. Without this, they could scare kids. "After going to multiple pediatric dentists who all suggested that my son was required to be put under full IV sedation for his dental work, I am SO HAPPY that I found the team at southwest pediatric. They were willing to perform the work needed using oral sedation. The whole process was quick, my son needed an extraction, crown and a few fillings.
