"Took my car in because it was grinding and pulsating as I drove faster. The guy said it would take 2 hours, it took 4. He didn’t even fix the problem he just replaced the rotors. Charged me 500 bucks for not fixing the problem, and now I have to pay an extra 100 dollars because he misaligned my axels and said he couldn’t fix it. Really dude? The worst part is my brakes completely slipped after he “fixed it” and said to trust him that it won’t happen again. Almost hit the car in front of me During the test drive the car was still bumping and he would just deny it. Save yourself some time and money, if you want a good mechanic go to Nefftys Auto on 53/Lake st. in addison. Always been the best mechanic and I should’ve stuck with him"

"Took my car to Hitech. The name is a misnomer. Its really low tech repair. The reason to go here is lower cost. He is not low cost. He is understaffed and not prepared to do complete auto maintenance. His staff is very junior, not trained properly. If you have a cheap car, then fine and need Oil changes, brakes, batteries, etc. Ne prepared to wait for your car. It will not be delivered in time. Do yourself a favor and go someone else if you have a decent and newer car. You will get better service, satisfaction knowing it was done properly and maybe the same price or slightly more. Its worth the piece of mind."
