But the staff were so sweet and understanding, they constantly checked on me to make sure I wasn't in any pain or discomfort. "I was recommended Smile Solutions by family due to having broken a filling and am SO GLAD I was! I've struggled to find a dentist that I can work with due to my anxiety and seizure disorder, but Dr. Yajima and her staff didn't hesitate to take me on as a patient. I hadn't been to a dentist in years due to my fears and medical issues but Paulina took very good care of me while she did my X-Rays and cleaning. She was sweet, friendly and checked in with me often to make sure I was comfortable. She never said a thing about the condition of my teeth or commented on how long it had been since I'd last seen a dentist. She gave good tips on brushing and flossing too and I can proudly say I've flossed every day since the appointment :). Kellen was very thorough when he explained my treatment plan and costs which I appreciated. I never felt rushed speaking with him and the whole thing was very affordable too! He was also able to fit me in for a same day appointment to get all my teeth fixed after the consultation! Dr. Yajima is amazing and I cannot reccomend her enough. she's incredibly knowledgeable and has a very calming presence about her. She's easy to talk to and when she's working always let's you know her next step. I was told I had a seizure about halfway through the procedure and am blown away by how well she and her staff handled it. She made sure I was safe throught the episode and was calm when I came to instead of panicked and that helped me to recover faster so we could finish up the work. She also had one of her staff get my father so he would be in the room with me when I woke up which meant the world to me. I highly reccomend them for folks who might be nervous, haven't been to the dentist in ages/feel shame about their teeth or have some complex medical history. Dr. Yajima and her staff are very understanding, non-judgmental and truly have your best care in mind. Very happy to say I've found my new dentist ❤."
