Reviews of Washington-on-the-Brazos Visitor Center
"Nice quiet, peaceful park with a lot of history. My grandchildren loved it. Beautiful trails and nice gift shop. Even with the construction we had a great time."
"Love walking around this property with my dog. He loves searching the butterflies. It's a beautiful peaceful place. This tree has been here before this time in history. It's amazing!"
"Great place to learn about the origins of Texas, and how the settlers lived long ago. The museum is amazing and has many interactive things for children of all ages."
"Pretty park-like spot on the Brazos. It has a few picnic tables at the info center and a pavilion in the field. There is a 1.5 mile walking path through the woods that allows views of the river and wild flowers. It can also be cut in half for a shorter walk. Leashed dogs are allowed. There are interesting historical buildings that were where the Texas Republic's Declaration of Independence was signed, as well as biographical information on the signees."
