"Wish I could give a lower rating. The doc is okay but the way the clinic functions is apalling. Front desk guy is overall very rude and unprofessional and also owns the clinic. Disrespectful and a bad attitude. They don't value your time as a patient and don't understand how parents of kids take time off for an appointment. Despite emailing them a month ahead about insurance info and approval details, they only look it up on day of appointment (they admitted to be sitting on that info and did not even apologize) and I had to make a bunch of last minute calls to insurance on their behalf to ensure appointment is not rescheduled. Emails and calls for refund when they billed and got paid both by insurance and also my credit card go unanswered.(and they save your credit card info without mentioning to you and charge it several months later).... Would never go there again....."

"I recently had the unfortunate experience of visiting DPD Smiles, and I must say, it was one of the most disappointing and unpleasant dental visits I have ever had. The main issue that I encountered was the incredibly rude and uninviting front desk receptionist, who seemed to have no concept of basic customer service. Upon entering the pediatric dentistry office with my toddler (walking) and baby in a stroller, I was immediately scolded by the front desk worker for bringing a stroller in. Instead of politely informing me of any policy regarding strollers, he chose to rudely tell mw that there exam rooms are small and shrugged when I said I needed the stroller for my baby. This simply made no sense give this is a pediatric dentist office. To make matters worse, our appointment was scheduled for a specific time, yet we were left waiting for a staggering 30 minutes before being taken back. This level of disregard for our time is simply unacceptable. It is not only disrespectful to the patients but also demonstrates a lack of organization and efficiency within the practice. The front desk worker's unhelpfulness extended beyond the stroller incident. When I approached him with a question regarding the appointment time, he made no attempt to even look at me through the glass of the front desk. While my experience with the front desk worker at DPD Smiles was highly disappointing, I must mention that the dentist and hygienist were kind and helpful. Once we were finally taken back for our appointment, they were professional and seemed knowledgeable in their field. The dentist took the time to answer any questions I had, which I appreciated. The hygienist was gentle and thorough during the cleaning process. However, despite their competence, the overall negative experience with the front desk worker overshadowed any positive interactions with the dental professionals. Overall, my experience at DPD Smiles was marred by the unprofessional and discourteous behavior of the front desk receptionist. The scolding for bringing in a stroller, the significant delay in being seen, and the unhelpful attitude displayed all contributed to an incredibly negative visit. I would strongly advise anyone seeking pediatric dental care to look elsewhere, as the lack of respect and poor customer service at DPD Smiles is simply not worth enduring."

"I cannot say enough good things about Dr Joshi and the whole team at DPD. Our daughter had to have oral surgery which on its own is scary as a parent but shes also autistic (minimally verbal) which added a whole other level of concerns on my part. But all my fears were for nothing. The procedure was quick, smooth, I was informed every step of the way, and my kiddo doesn’t remember a thing. She’s healing very well and I can already tell she feels so much better. I’m forever grateful to the whole DPD Smiles team."

"I'm giving them 3 stars because the work was done, but their deceptive billing is a real problem. We took my daughter in for some extensive dental work. I was paying in cash. They gave us a quote on a screen and verbally, but did not give us a physical copy of it. They claimed that they include worse case scenario items, but that if they ended up not doing them, I would receive a refund. The day she had the oral surgery, the dentist informed us afterwards that she did not have to do quite a few things, including multiple crowns, as well as the lip tie procedure that we opted out of. And yet when we received the final paperwork, they had padded the bill to equal out to what I had already paid in full. We inquired about the original quote we were given, but they refused to give it to us. Kept insisting that the paperwork they sent us was the only one. They lie to rip you off. After awhile, they refused to answer any calls or emails. Don't go here. They will lie, pad bills, and then refuse to talk to you. There's plenty of other places to go."
