"This is an exceptional practice with great service and quality work. Unfortunately people think their opinions hold any weight, when they’re really just having a tantrum. To the bully with the one star review, It’s highly apparent that the most recent negative review is from someone with internal issues looking to blame a practice for their own shortcomings. Ironically you’re even stating that something was not covered by insurance in your OWN review! Literally confirming that this argument is irrelevant and unnecessary. Just grasping and showing your insecurities. It shows the quality of your thoughts if you can’t even respect the Doctor’s family. How do you know why the child was there???! Check yourself, your spelling and your grammar homie. Side note: Good luck finding a “better” practice."
"Just left this practice after 7 years. We were on vacation and my son got sick. His mouth and throat hurt and he had some swelling around his tooth. Called the dentist to see if the swelling around the tooth could be the issue. Literally only a couple minutes long phone call. (Long story short we took him to an immediate care and it was strep) About 1.5 months later I received a hand written bill in pen for $60 with no explanation on it(no bill codes or procedures on it). It didn’t even say what I was being charged for. I called Lane dental and found out it was for this phone call and phone pictures of the tooth that they requested. I spoke to the receptionist and asked since this was rare occurrence (we were on vacation, still had to take him to immediate care) and we didn’t know it would incur a $60 fee, if there any way to help us with this bill. She said she would ask Dr. Lane Jr and get back to me. She got back to me later that day and she told me there was nothing he could do. So I asked for the dental codes that we were being charged for so I could reach out to insurance and see why this bill wasn’t covered. After few calls I found out it was for a limited exam(emergency exam)and televist. Insurance told me that we our covered for 1 limited exam per year but no televisit. So it should have been partially covered. Insurance said we should only owe $30 for the televisit only. However insurance told us that, this limited exam was accidentally billed to my insurance on my sons last cleaning visit, by mistake. I called multiple times to work out this bill with Dr. Lane Jr. finally spoke to him on the phone after 3rd attempt. I agreed to pay $30 for the televist, per insurance stating that’s all I should be liable for. He told me that his records don’t reflect that and that the insurance company was lying to me. He said if you call the insurance company again they will give you a different answer. I asked him if his office could contact the insurance and see why there is conflicting information. He told me that he doesn’t need to, based off his records. I said don’t you care about your patients? He said I took this call didn’t I! We kinda went back and forth and basically, I told him this might be a deal breaker for me and is it really worth losing 3 patients? He told me I wish you the best of luck! So we’re finding a better dentist, should be real easy. Side note- - Hygienist Nicole is great! Always amazing and professional! - Never had an issue with Sr. But Jr is condescending and entitled! (especially during difficult situations)! -my personal visit we’re always good, how ever I always waited 30-45 min before being seen. -When I had fillings done over the summer Jr. had his kid running around the exam room while he was working on my teeth. I should have seen this as a sign, things were changing. P.S. If you do go to Lane Dental see Lane Sr. Not Jr.."
"Hello just had my first appointment with Lane Dental! Very happy with hygienist Nicole! Professional & friendly ! The office atmosphere is good for me. I had gone to a dentist for 30 years until he retired. I wasn’t comfortable with the dentist who took over his practice. I’ve been hopscotching dentists for the past 6 years. Now I think I’ve found my new dental home!"
"I have always been terrified of the dentist and have never been a fan of going (even for cleanings). About 6/7 years ago, I switched over to Dr. Lane. The staff always puts me at ease and takes such great care of me (and my husband). I had terrible pain about a week ago that ended up being an emergency root canal…I was not happy to hear that! But Dr. Lane and his staff made the process pain-free and I’m feeling 100% better…I am so grateful and would highly recommend them!"
"I had a problem with finding a dentist that I was comfortable with until I found Dr. Lane. He is very patient, kind and does not try to talk you into getting any work done that you are not comfortable doing. You can tell that he really loves what he does and cares for his patients. My children also love going to the dentist now also because of Dr. Lane making them feel so comfortable! We are moving out of state and are going to miss this office and staff. If you are in need of a great dentist you will find it here!"
