"The Weslaco Chamber of Commerce has a very antiquated way of reserving space. The require checks and do not take credit card. For corporate companies such as the one I work for, requesting a check is a tedious process. I was told I could reserve by giving a personal check and they would not deposit it under any circumstance(I have this in an email and it was also verbally mentioned -my stupidity. They deposited my check and didn't even warn me, which caused a domino effect in ISF charges equaling $390. I didn't even receive half of my charges back, no sorry, and they still want to charge me my room rental! Poor customer service and absolutely no remorse. I will never return to this venue."
