"I've been going to Algonquin Dental Associates since 2020. I've have had numerous procedures and cleaning done without too many issues (except with my crown which took several times to get replaced/adjusted). I even referred my wife who started coming to this location as well and has had number of procedures done as well. I enjoy Dr. Kamps, and his staff and I thought that we have built a great relationship over the years. That all changed when I missed an appointment in December right before the Holidays. When I rescheduled the appointment and came back, I was charged a $100 fee. I understand the fee is in place to prevent customers from missing their appointments all the time, but this was my 1st time in 3 years, and it was during a hectic holiday season. When I asked for the fee to be waived due to it being the "first offense" and the fact that I always pay on time and even referred my wife as an additional customer - they declined and still made me pay their fee. It's unfortunate that this is how they treat their loyal customers and I'll definitely be doing some research for other dentists around the area."
