Reviews of Ascension Rx - Dell Seton Medical Center Pharmacy
"Pharmacist was very helpful. I was in and out fast!!! Never have I been treated with such favor. I will definitely be choosing to go here from now on!"
"Alma was a rude employee, did not help at all even after i tried telling her the way and program i have, didn’t help me refill my insulin & now i have been checked into the ER"
"Worst pharmacy experience I've ever had. They are trying to force employees to get meds refilled through them but will not deliver meds. I have been calling for 3 weeks for my prescription and every time I'm on hold for 20 minutes or more then hung up on. When I finally get through to someone I'm told they'll ship soon and then they never arrive. I can't drive all the way from Georgetown to Austin just to pick up my prescriptions from the main pharmacy."
"Not a good experience so far. I am a Seton employee so my insurance mandates that I get this specialty medication (Methotrexate injections) from their outpatient pharmacy instead of at the local HEB pharmacy a mile away from me where I receive all of my other prescriptions. The insurance also will not do refills on this medication which means every month I have to call either my doctors office or this pharmacy and request another refill. Then, since this pharmacy does not have e-file available (antiquated?) my dr.'s office has to either call them or fax the RX to them so they cannot set it up automatically. Then...This pharmacy will not keep my credit card information on file so they can automatically bill me which means that every month I have to call them or they call me and give them my credit card information-again. I wish I could just get this at my local HEB as they are SO much easier."
"WORST experience ever at a pharmacy. WOW. First we called to make sure we could pick up .. seemed we were a nuisance to the lady. As we live 30 minutes away we just want to make sure our meds were ready for our sick daughter who just got discharged from hospital. The middle aged guy at the counter was EXTREMELY RUDE. Didn't greet and only looked up once in the 5 minutes I was at the window which he was only 1.5 feet from me- which was when I got to the window. I came home to find that one of our prescriptions had to be refrigerated which he never told me. He just stapled up and handed like I was annoying him.. though didn't say anything except the info hr needed from me...I guess he's just annoyed by any customer. He asked if I wanted to speak to the pharmacist but I declined....but any other person giving meds would mention refrigerate one... but he didn't... so now I have to get a new prescription. Was clearly a number that he didn't even want to serve. RUDE RUDE RUDE. WOW. RUDE. He's obviously are not from around here because honestly that was the rudest person I've encountered in the 10 years I've been here. I hope someone removes that gentleman, honestly. The oddest part was there was no line at all and it was a quiet time of day so not sure what all the negativity is about. I've never left a bad review on Google...EVER... but I will never take this one down and I hope you don't go here."
