"I had an emissions light appear on my van. I had received a recall notice and thought it may be related. When I took it to Cape Girardeau Honda, they said the warning light may not be related to the recall. They said if it wasn’t the recall causing the issue, there would be a diagnostic fee to determine what was wrong. I guess I should have been clearer with them, because I just wanted to know if the recall was the issue. They determined the recall wasn’t the issue, charged me a $165.41 diagnostic fee and told me I needed $3930.28 in repairs done. What a joke. I declined and took it to my mechanic. He said it is fine to drive until he can look at it. I can assure you that whatever is done won’t be anywhere near $3930.28. Again, I should have made it clear that I just wanted to know if the recall needed to be done. I have purchased four vehicles from Cape Girardeau Honda and will not purchase another one."
