"Friendly neighborhood Southside bar atmosphere, just expected normal bar food. The burger was house made perfectly cooked, medium and juicy, two slices of cheese, bright red tomatoes and the chef had homemade pickles. It was delicious! Hubby got the ribs, loved them, and I gobbled up the homemade potato salad. Perfect lunch on a Saturday afternoon for us. Belly up to the bar, chat with the folks and give it a try!"

"Whoever said this place is nothing special has never tried the food lol. This place has the dive-bar vibe, but the staff are also very friendly and the service I experienced when I visited was excellent! But my biggest surprise was the food. My goodness, I didn't expect the quality and presentation of the dishes we were presented. My praise definitely goes to the chef for some very delicous chile rellenos. His take on a dish close to my heart warmed me up through and through, and left me wanting more. Absolutely worth the trip and the calories! If you're not sure if you should give this place a try, ask your self if you enjoy a place with kind staff, and delicious food. If the answer is yes, give it a try!"

"The place is nothing special, but when 10+ people show at a bar (across from a cemetery) shortly after noon and get great service, that says a lot! The person we lost liked Old Style. The bartender brought a bottle of Old Style and a dozen shot glasses."
