Reviews of Dempsey-Adams CARSTAR
"Dempsey Adams did a wonderful, professional job fixing my car like new! The front desk people were a joy to meet and speak to on the phone. When dropped off my car the rear end was held together by bungee cords. When I picked it up, the car was in amazing shape. However the bungie cords were not returned and one tire was at 25 psi which triggered a dashboard alert I’m sure whoever drove the car into the lot had to see."
"Everything went great except one small thing. I had a glass heart and cross hanging from mirror. When I got into my vehicle, they were scattered on floor. As part of customer service I think it would of been nice if they had gathered the loose pieces and not just leave it there."
"Great customer service! They worked me in Got a tech out same day and called with an estimate for my window within a couple hours. I will definitely Recommend and use this company again. Thank you!!"
"Very happy with the service I received. My car looks great , they got the work done fast no problems. I got a car rental , they brought it to the repair shop and that made it so easy . Great job."
"My vehicle was serviced here in April. The initial interaction with the front desk was very unprofessional, the person I spoke with had no clue about my vehicle being scheduled for service there. That should have been my que to take my car somewhere else but due to past repairs (Over 10yrs ago) that went well and other references from people I know I decided to proceed with them, that was a mistake. I'm disappointed in the service and treatment I've received and I've asked those that I know to no longer take their cars to this shop. My vehicle was returned with the part not being set properly, visible paint chipping from the area that was supposedly to have been repaired, over sprayed paint and what I was told to be "dirt" that's embedded in the paint in the area that they repaired and painted. I voiced my concerns they adjusted the part to remove the buckling and removed the overspray of paint but refused to repair the chipped paint. Rob, who I believe is the GM says "We don't work for free" my response "but I paid the full balance in cash at the time I picked up my vehicle." They also damaged my hood in the area they were repairing but deny that even though its around the area they were repairing. There is a warranty on this shoddy repair but they're not fixing it. The issues with the repair are being blamed on a defective part from the car manufacturer, where they claim they ordered the part from and my insurance company refusing to pay additional money for them to repair the defective part received from the manufacturer. My question is why would you put a defective part on a vehicle, sloppily paint over it and return it to the owner and call it a good repair that you're satisfied with saying that it was a repair completed at your shop. Why was I not contacted prior to placing a defective part on my vehicle? I would have said don't repair it and negotiated with my insurance company. I wonder if this is how you get more money out of people and insurance companies?. I was only offered for the "dirt" to be buffed out the paint, and they removed the overspray the day I took it back. They do not care about customer service, or customer satisfaction. They attempted to contact my insurance company for more money but of course they denied it. This was a shoddy amateur at best repair job, and I'm still upset and feel I have no recourse in this matter. The repair looks like I took it to someone repairing cars in their garage with basic equipment, not a highly supposedly reputable establishment with whom you think employ highly trained and skilled technicians."
