"I have been going to Synergy for quite sometime. The staff is awesome, and Dr. Tenholder truly cares about all of her patients. As for the no parents allowed with their children back in the treatment room, I for one absolutely condone this. I want my children to build a trust with their dentist. If I am there, they will do anything they can to get my sympathy and will only harm their experience with the Dentist. As for someone who has a phobia about dentists, I wish my dentist had this policy when I was a child. Also, would have wanted my dentist to build my trust about good dental hygiene and allowed me as the child to do so on my own. Additionally, as an adult, I have been to other offices where parents cannot control their children in the dental chair and other kids that they bring in and it has been a major distraction to the dentist and the patients alike. P.S. Nothing is done to a child without the parent's consent and full agreement prior to any procedure.
