"We had some minor issues over the years but when they started charging $5 a person for a cleaning to pay for the one pair of gloves and the mask that they use for a cleaning, our family of 8 had to find a different dentist. I'm not paying $40 dollars a year for my family when we can simply go elsewhere and get it done for free. It doesn't help that the receptionists are rude either."
"I've had good care here, however, my last appointment i noticed they are now charging their patients $5 for the disposable items they're using on each patient. When I go to the dentist, I don't expect to be charged for their business expenses. They need to realize there's about 50 other dental practices in Wentzville that don't charge their customers for the disposable items used during a visit. In fact, when I called another dentist office, she said she had never heard of such a thing."
"I called this office from another practice as we had a mutual patient, and the woman who answered the phone was not welcoming and less than friendly. We were informed they can not send x-rays any way other than by mailing the pictures via USPS(Which in 2022 is a rarity). The Parent drove to get the x-rays to avoid extra unnecessary charges and also experienced another unwelcoming interaction. I hope this was someone having a bad day and not a reflection of how this practice routinely treats customers and fellow colleagues."
"I had a tooth that supposedly had a cavity in it that only showed up on X-ray. The dentist told me I needed a crown. I went ahead because they seemed very capable. After the procedure of the final crown placement, I was in extreme pain if I tried to eat on that side. Cold sensitive. Went back in they tried re-shaping the crown. Still didn't work. I called back, the receptionist told me the dentist wants me to go get a root canal done. WHAT?! This tooth gave me zero problems before and now I have a tooth that is messed up. I can't afford to go get a root canal right now so I have to just deal with the pain. My wife also got a crown on at this dentist, and she has pretty much the same issue. In fact to try to fix the issue they started grinding down the tooth in front of the crown and behind the crown. After this dentist wasn't able to help, we went to another dentist for a second opinion. They are telling us the crown is not fit properly, and she now has damage to a tooth in front of her crown. We have to pay out of pocket the entire expense of a new crown because insurance will only cover a new crown every 5 years. Overall the husband and wife dentist seemed nice. I feel let down that they do not stand behind their work and we left their office worse off then when we went in. Do yourself a favor, before this place tells you, that you need major work done, get a second opinion. Chances are your teeth are perfectly healthy."
"Sad to say but we have to leave this provider. The hygienists there where great and loved them. But staff doesn't call your insurance to make sure the procedure you may need is covered and then your out of pocket for this. Front billing has it pretty easy as this isn't part of their job. So please beware if your having major work done."
