Reviews of Walgreens Pharmacy
"I wish there were a number lower than 1 star! The associate BLATANTLY lied and said that she did not receive my prescription from my doctor... when I called my doctor right in front of her.. my doctor sent me the time stamp of when they received it... which was 2.5 hrs before my trip. She then lied AGAIN and said that she just received it. NO MORE... in search of a new pharmacy!"
"I feel bad for the people who care working in there that may be impacted by the actions of others, but I’ve never seen a good experience at this pharmacy. 1. Wait Times: A) Expect at least a 30 minute wait, if you walk INSIDE. If they are not familiar with an insurance issue or you have an appointment and they’re not ready, expect to sit in the chairs to the left. I’ve sat and waited 30+ minutes for an appointment for a flu shot. B) Drive-Thru is 45 minutes to an hour, like 15-20 minutes per car. I turn off my car between to save gas. I try to be nice, but imagine working a 12-hour day and then spending 1.5 hours in a Walgreens for 2 out of your 3 requested prescriptions, and then tell me how you’d feel. 2. Rude customer service. A) There have been multiple times they just close the drive-thru without warning, before they’re closed. The second lane they dismantled so it’s one-lane anyway. You only know with the hand-written sign you can only read if up close. No cone or professional signal. Then when you have to come inside, expect to wait in line again, even if you were next in the drive-thru. They don’t care. I’ve had one occasion that they had a line of people (once again, their fault, not the people that got there on time and had been waiting), and closed the pharmacy gate on a line of people because they were “now closed.” This after they had randomly closed throughout the week without warning or explanation during their normal hours. You can’t make this stuff up. It’s like impractical jokers level absurdity. How can you be THIS rude to humans? Mind you, we’re talking about medication, not ice cream. B) Sometimes they cancel your orders without explanation. In the app it’ll say, “call us.” When you call, they put you on hold and/or hang up immediately. They DEFINITELY don’t care about you. If you go in, no explanation ready. Just someone who wasn’t sure and no alternative offered. - Frequent medication delays. They’ll blame it on supply chain or staffing. We can understand staffing and things out of your control, just communicate and don’t be rude about it. 3. Lacking knowledge or appearing to. They cancelled a very important prescription for me and (due to them hanging up on the call) I went in to receive the explanation as to why. Mind you, I’ve received this prescription multiple times, on schedule, for years. I had to tell the pharmacist* three times that the one they cancelled was not the same one as the one I had already received…because they both started with the letter “E.” I could see the screen and I was baffled that was the reason why I waited 3 weeks to not receive this important medication, because they don’t know or couldn’t take two seconds to understand the difference. 4. Disorganized: For disorganization, their system is trash. Anyone inside can see they don’t follow or don’t have a good system for storing the medications. Often they’re checking multiple bins to find prescriptions. I can understand and empathize with staffing struggles. If I see someone I like that’s knowledgeable, kind, and professional, I usually see them 3 times and never see them again. I’ve never seen a consistently good experience at this location. Usually, I walk in and someone is mad because they’ve been waiting and there’s a line. Other Walgreens, I’ve rarely, if ever, even seen people in the chairs! I understand that it’s a hard day in this location. I don’t hate the people. BUT there needs to be a better system/process, better training (and execution of said training), and basic* human decency and respect for the customers for this pharmacy to be rated even a 3. Thanks."
"This is based on my experiences over the last couple of years, but last night was the final straw. I got the call that my prescription was ready. Went inside and they had a sign that they were drive thru only due to staffing problems. Fine. So I wait AND HOUR AND A HALF in the drive thru line (because I really really really need these meds) only to be told by the employee that my prescription is not ready. I told her about the call and she said that this happens a lot and to call first before sitting in line. Fine, except for you can’t get through their phone lines because of how understaffed they are. Not upset with the employee, but this has happened before. Any time I come here I wait at least an hour to be helped and it usually is a 50/50 on if they even have my prescription ready. If I could rate lower than one star would. I can only imagine how horribly Walgreens treats their team members that they have been so understaffed for the last three years."
"Worst customer service ever with no work ethic by the pharmacists. If I need a prescription even if already filled, expect at least an hour wait."
"I’m starting to think the pharmacist and the pharmacy techs are all stupid. You get there before they close , they have a ridiculously long line , by the time you get to the front they’re closed and they blame the customer. I plan to call corporate everyday until I can’t call anymore . Oh and to make it better , I talked to the store manager who said oh I get complaints on them all the time , call corporate to do something . ALL OF THEM ARE IGNORANT ."
