"Went there with my girlfriend and her friend last Tuesday for Karaoke as soon as I sat down at a table I noticed a man slinging the entry door open then trying to slam it shut then repeated that several times then he came back inside shaking his fist and growling some words as he pointed at someone. He continued to do this off and on for a couple hours and at some point he accosted me while I was in the bathroom by hitting the door several times and yelled something at me I couldn’t understand. When I exited the restroom he was red in the face pointing at me growling something that again I couldn’t tell what he was talking about but by the look and facial expressions he had and his fist shaking at me I could tell he was wanting to fight. I hadn’t said a word nor interacted with this guy at all until this point, I told him to leave me alone but he continued yelling and shaking his fist at me so I told the owner who then replied “oh that’s just the way he is” and the owner then justified him not doing anything because the guy allegedly died a dozen times and the owner again further justified him not removing him because the crazy man had been a regular for twenty years. I then told the owner “so this guy has been running off customers for twenty years”. The owner replied “ he hasn’t run me off”. I have been going to this bar off and on for 26 years and currently have plans for karaoke weekly with friends for the rest of this year however with this low level management and lack of respect for non violent customers to enjoy the night we will be finding another place where owners do not allow someone with apparent violent mental issues to threaten customers then act like it’s okay. I have noticed that crowds in this bar have dwindled over the years and I am sure this owner is clueless as to his modus operandi being the cause, he probably blames people like me who want to have a good time without being threatened with violence. Atmosphere is everything, Bar Rescue’s Jon Taffer would flip out if he had seen some garbage excuse such as this and lack of action from an incompetent owner like this place has. I don’t mind dive bars but this is level of ineptitude is unacceptable. You get what you put into something so just keep on keeping on dude, not my problem, it’s yours."
