"I can’t believe all the negativity. I have been to this place multiple times. We enjoy the wine & the food. Small business wineries are the best. My husband and I will continue to patronize small businesses. If you have a bad experience let someone know in a positive adult manner. If you don’t like the service roll up your sleeves. It is really difficult to find good help. No one wants to work but want to go out and have 5 star experiences. Bella vista winery continue to serve & improve as you are able. We love the back patio, the bar tenders have been kind, we have enjoyed the food and the wines we have tried. Love the patriotism. Do not apologize for it!"

"My son and I had a rare afternoon to spend together, so I searched online and found this winery in Maryville and we ventured over from Belleville, hoping to find a new venue to visit regularly. We ordered a flight of wine, the fish tacos, and the red snapper. While the food was excellent, the portions were very meager relative to price---my plate included 3 small tacos that amounted to more of an appetizer than a meal, for $17. The rather small serving of snapper came with Brussels sprouts, but no potato, bread, salad, or anything else, for $21. The flight--4 selections of barely 3-oz each--was $25! Once we got our food, we were never visited by the staff again, but WE WERE THE ONLY CUSTOMERS THERE! When we departed, we couldn't even find anyone to say goodbye to, or to give feedback to. We spent close to $70 with tax, but we both needed to eat a full meal when we got home! This place has the potential to be awesome, but it's not there yet--the pricing needs to reflect what you actually get, and the staff should be more attentive, especially if it's not busy."

"Edit: I wasn’t expecting a refund. We did eat about half the board (which was only salami and grapes for 22 bucks) It was more about the interaction w management. We have been here in the past but this was the worst interaction. We live close but do not plan to come back. If you think your going to a winery for the experience..don’t go here! Went to the winery on a Sunday afternoon. Purchased two bottles of wine and a charcuterie board. What we got was a small plate of greasy salami, some grapes, 6 pieces of bread and Brie cheese that was warm and melting when we got it. We got this same thing a few months ago and it was amazing. Now for 22.00 it’s a joke. When I told the manager that I was disappointed in the board she was not helpful to say the least. She told me they didn’t have the boards in the past and I was wrong even though this pic is what we got a few months ago. What a joke"

"Went for lunch and tasting with my girlfriends one afternoon. Lovely view off their back patio and a good selection of wine. Two of us order wine flights, the other a cocktail. They also offered wine slushies. The owner was around and very knowledgeable. Wait staff will bring out food ordered at the bar and take away dirty plates, but you can only order at the bar at the front."

"Always enjoy dining here. Such a lovely venue. The food is truly top chef quality. Wine is delicious. Tonight we discovered the back patio. I could sit here all night!!"
