They made me feel so comfortable and they both eluded so much confidence. I was properly numbed, didn’t feel a thing and they had patience with me and listened to all of my concerns. "This office does not know the difference between medicaid and a medicare advance ppo plan. despite numerous attempts to explain that my medicare advantage ppo plan with united health care. Everyone and I do literally mean everyone in the office insisted that I would have to pay for my visit in full. The state of Iowa pays my medicare advantage premiums and that is all. additionally it was the impression of these professionals that my insurance was a state run program. it's not and this office was listed as a provider on my list of dental providers from united health care. unbelievable and seriously flawed you would think a professional dental office would know these this especially if listed on a major medicare advantage insure provider list honestly I thought I was trying to convince cave people of limited intellect that fire is not magic. perhaps if i had dressed as a well heeled individual i would not have been treated so like an individual and not a homeless person from the streets trying to get dental care without paying I would have been treated more like an elderly veteran instead"

"Went there this morning, Mind you I drove from Burlington (not very far I know). But when I got there they asked for my insurance card they said "we don't accept Iowa total care" so then I asked if they accepted Blue Dental. Was told they accept it but couldn't accept me because I have 2 dental insurances. So I asked what would it be if I just paid out of pocket and once again was told I couldn't be accepted. UMMMMM what a joke."

"Rude and prejudice! I was referred to Dr. Bassler from my oral surgeon. When I called to schedule an appointment the receptionist asked about dental insurance. I asked if they accepted medicaid and she got a rude and disgusted tone in her voice and told me they can’t see me. I told her I would just like to pay out of pocket and was discriminated against being told they won’t take me because I asked about Medicaid. I’ve never known a dentist to turn down cash out of pocket. Find a dental office that actually cares!"
