"The service here is very personal. During Saturday and Christmas very busy but she still took great care in making everything perfect. Tried a new beer and it it the spot. The bread pudding with caramel sauce will become a new Christmas tradition. There brisket, pulled pork and dry chicken wings are better than some smoke houses I have been to."

"All Smoked meats,OUTSTANDING!! Baked beans red beans&rice, gumbo,&etouffe were great! The meat is SOOOO flavorable and moist.4 days later,leftovers were still moist.BBQ sauce is out of this world!We had carry out a week l8tr. I did not know the dining area room upstairs existed on our 1st visit.We ended up eating outside and got bit by bugs"

"Lunch with bestie from Colorado. Had the 3 pincher or something like that. Came with 3 meats and 3 sides plus we ordered the okra appetizer. Overall, the food was quite good. I loved the smoked chicken and the brisket an spilled pork nice. Sauce was sweet and a little spicy which we all loved. We had green bean (like my granny used to make!) good stuff, a little country souls to them. The cole slaw was a little sweet and tart in a German way. Hubs like it a lot. Beans were pretty good as well and okra wonderful! Oz was behind the bar and he waited on us bc we dined inside. He was kind and very helpful and honest. We enjoyed ourselves and would return. It’s a nice vibe and I couldn’t give it a 5 because though the meat was nice, it wasn’t Q39 nice!(Kansas City place I love!) Thanks for a nice lunch! Will return!"

"Absolute VIBE to this place. The under ground darkness… I loved the low ceilings, all of it fit. The room off to the side with the gates and the fire place tues it all in. I’m not much of a beer drinker any more, but if you like craft and interesting foreign beers, this is a good place for you. Also a decent selection of liquors. Great place, the outside looks wonderful when it gets warmer out"
