Reviews
"Store was a little underwhelming and smaller than it looked outside. The store was also a little too dark inside and the aisles felt cramped. The wife and I do not recommend this CVS. It wasn't too good of an experience. We would like vibrance and lighting. I know it's a pharmacy, but it is 2023, please update the lighting in here."

"This one is for you, Marisol. The next time you find yourself in a difficult situation and need a little kindness, compassion, or empathy... I hope you think of me. I've been filling my monthly medication at this CVS location for over 5 years. They've never been very friendly, usually just seem more annoyed than anything. However, they're the closest to my house, and I've never had any major issues getting my medication. Until today, when Marisol (Pharmacy Manager) decided that she knows better than my doctor. Here's the setup: I'm an addict, and I've been in recovery since November of 2007. I take a medication on a daily basis that helps me maintain sobriety, and makes relapse far less likely. Since Nov. 2007, I have not relapsed once. Almost 16 years... I made a mistake earlier this week, and accidentally threw away my remaining medication. It was completely my fault, and I don't even know how it happened. But it did, and now I'm trying to deal with the situation. I had an appointment with my doctor yesterday. I've been seeing him since March of 2015. I have never needed to fill my medication early, AND it's only 4 days early. So he said he had no problem filling it a few days before it was normally due. He contacted the pharmacy and provided his approval to fill it 4 days early. Today is Friday, October 13th, 2023. But, for some unknown reason, after being a loyal customer for YEARS, Marisol decides she knows better than my doctor, and refuses to fill my prescription until Tuesday, October 17th, 2023, which would be my normal refill date. Out of desperation, I called and spoke with Marisol to ask if there was anything else that could be done, and why, even with my doctors approval, she wouldn't fill it... Marisol took her time to scold and belittle me in the most condescending tone I've ever heard. "If you fill your prescription 2 days early every month, and you do that for a whole year, year after year, you can see how that would add up over time. So you should have more than enough." Yes, Marisol, that's right. I did actually have enough to cover me for while... my problem is that I kept my "extra" in the same bottle. So, when I threw the bottle away, that included my "contingency stash." I've never been treated so rudely and abrasively. Thank you for talking down to me and treating me like I was a child that you needed to scold and reprimand. Thank you for trying to teach me a lesson, whatever that lesson may have been. Thank you for risking my sobriety after 16 years. I always thought that people in the medical field, including those who work in a pharmacy, were there to help people. To treat PEOPLE... not treat people like they're drug seekers. This medication keeps me from being a drug seeker, but your need to assert your dominance in the situation, your "god complex" kept you from treating me like a human. Marisol, I hope you never find yourself in a situation where you need someone to treat you with a little humanity, but instead meet someone with your lack of compassion, empathy, dignity, respect or understanding. I don't like talking about my struggles with addiction and what it's cost me. But then something like this happens and it makes me realize that I'm not embarrassed or ashamed to talk about it. I have nothing to hide, so if my experience or my story can help someone else who's going through the same issues, then I will gladly share. In the meantime, I'll be taking my medication and any other pharmacy related business somewhere that they don't have people who think they're better than me and treat me like I'm less than human."
"I notified the CVS Calallen at the pharmacy told them I was running late and they stayed late for me to be able to pick up my wife's prescription. Tammy and Marisol were outstanding they went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that I was taken care of. I will continue to get mine and my family's prescriptions here and I will tell my friends and family about the service here and how great of a job they did."
"I came in one day in need of a medicine for my thyroid, they told me I didn't have a refill, they faxed my primary Doctor twice, and I never got a refill, in the process of changing doctor, CVS only gave me 3 pills, and I was left without medicine for one week. My thyroid messed up. I recently tested very low levels of thyroid."
