"Wonderful experience first time! Quite large dining area & kitchen remains open till pretty late in night time. Great options in appetizers & drinks. In appetizers Kung pao cauliflower, dynamite chicken & curdled wings were great. Ragda Samosa could have been better. Wasn't spicy. 2nd visit update: Palak paneer was good. Kulcha was great. But Aalu Paratha was not even a paratha. (Just some naan with hints of potato. ) Kids nacho salsa was priced same as adults. Kung pao cauliflower was not crispy/fresh. Most servers are clueless on the items served."
"We saw Amrut restaurant and decided to check it out. There were so many opened tables available when we got there however the hostess looked very confused and didn’t seat us until another table opened up (very strange)! The atmosphere was nice, the drinks were good ( but not enough alcohol in the drinks) and the food had good flavors but the portions were quite small and didn’t taste authentic Indian as we had been to many other Indian restaurants."
"I recently had the pleasure of dining at Amrut fusion and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish! The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, setting the perfect tone for a relaxing evening out. The staff were not only friendly but also incredibly attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed throughout our meal. What truly impressed me was the outstanding service provided by the manager. They took the time to greet each table personally, ensuring that everyone felt valued and well taken care of. Their attention to detail truly elevated the dining experience. And let's talk about the food! Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor. The curdled wings were a unique and delicious appetizer, while the periperi chicken wings had just the right amount of heat. And I can't forget to mention the apricot delight, which was the perfect balance of sweet and tangy. Overall, exceeded my expectations in every way possible. With its warm atmosphere, impeccable service, and mouthwatering dishes, it's definitely a place I'll be returning to again and again."
"Heard about this place from various STL food bloggers on Insta. Went in with friends & family. Ample parking right outside. And great ambiance. The staff is very courteous. Got us seated quickly. Appetizers- Crispy veg momos were okay. Tandoori Momos & afghan paneer were nice! The chicken lollipop was great too! (Just that it was over topped with chaat masala) Mango lassi was good. Mains - Tried Dosa quesadilla, Paneer tikka masala, dal makhni & Royal chicken. Garlic naan were good (compared to butter naan) Overall good taste & service. Slightly lesser quantity per plate. Worth a shot for the interesting fusion dishes."
"Decided to check this place out today and wasn’t impressed. I ordered the chickpeas with chicken and it was extremely spicy. I got it so I could share with my 1 year old because I thought it was mild. I like spice but this was next level! I asked the waitress if it was a spicy dish and she said no but didn’t offer to exchange it. So, I just ate the rice. My boyfriend got the lamb brisket and it was nothing special (tough/fatty meat). I don’t understand why the raw carrot and celery with it? The samosas were good and I loved the mint cream sauce. Atmosphere is nice. The bathroom area smelled like they were having some sewage issues… bummer! Was hoping to like this place. Hopefully they can make some changes asap! Manager should be going around asking how people are doing. Had our server changed out my dish, I wouldn’t be writing this review…."
