"We went in to the bar for drinks only. Chelsea was not friendly and made us wait before she acknowledged us. Took our drink order. Drinks well made. Then my husband and I witnessed a 30 minute show of Chelsea and other kitchen/wait staff arguing, complaining and being rude. They seemed to carry on like this was normal work behavior. Customers definitely are not a priority in.this establishment. Wont be back"
"I've been a loyal customer to Rhythm City and Draft Days since they opened their doors. I have offered numerous suggestions and been beyond patient with their downfalls over the years. At times dealing with lengthy waits for seating or food to arrive, short staffing circumstances, nobody answering the phone for ordering take-out, or not being tended to after being seated. But, this last Thursdays visit definitely was the final straw for me. Opted to watch the Women's Hawkeye basketball game and have dinner with a friend. Arrived well before closing time (~8:40-8:45pm). Seated promptly. Waited a bit for a server to take our drink order. We were ready to order everything at that point. She scurried off quickly and we didn't have the chance to order everything. Returned with the drinks about 10 min later. Then order our food. Waited about 20-25 min for food to arrive. I had about 4 bites left of my food and our waitress went around turning off the TV's. Including ours that we were actively watching. I had a lot of things I wanted to say. However, I contained my anger and said, "that was rude!" To which she replied, "we are closed!" Wow. I then informed her I wasn't even done eating. My friend even said, can we finish our food? Nope. Our waitress opted to escalate the moment and began yelling at us -WE ARE CLOSED!!! I was beyond appalled. "You're yelling at me?!?" I then said I wanted my tip back. She walked away and yelled back to me, "TAKE IT!" I couldn't take the digital tip away. I had paid for the majority of our tab with comps. The residual bill was $16. I tipped her $10. I put down the rest of my burger that was in hand, informed her she needed customer service training and left. I understand the need to close. I can understand shutting down the TV's so as to not draw more customers. I do not understand why she couldn't leave our TV on for us while we finished our final bites of food. I do not understand why a person in customer service feels it is acceptable to raise their voice and yell at a customer. It is not our fault that Draft Days is understaffed. It is not my fault the server didn't ask if we were ready to order the first time, thus allowing us more time to eat. I do not understand why a sports bar operating at a 24/7 casino would close at 10pm. Patrons have complained for years about the lack of availability for food. I know, I've listened to the complaints many times while gaming. It is disheartening to see this business continuing to depreciate. I often ask myself why I continue to return business to them when I have the opportunity to play elsewhere AND gain benefits that can be used towards trips to Vegas, etc. Get it together Rhythm City. Business is slow, and continuing to slow more and more for you. Elite players are walking away daily and you're doing nothing to correct the problems. If it's not housekeeping waking us up at 9 am when we have a late check out, it's waitresses screaming at customers. I could go on and on, but there's truly no point. Beyond disappointed, one visit after the next. Do better RC!"
"Was a much higher rating. They redid the menu and removed the stroganoff which was what I loved and second choice was chicken fried chicken. Yep that's gone also. We'll they do have the white sauce flat bread pizza oh never mind they dumped that also.. ya your left with burger, salad, fish and chips stay away from soooo greasy. Ribeye ok. Fried chicken. Dry.......flat bread pizza red sauce good.... so I eat before I get there now. Bad choice dumping your best meals draft day...."
"Great place with affordable prices around the area. Unless you want to go to the 6th floor and pay arm and leg for food. Thank you"
"Had the BBQ Chicken flatbread, it was pretty good except the bundles of red onion in a couple of spots. Service was a little slow, but very friendly. Would eat there again!"
