"Tyler & Chris were both very patient and helped me achieve a full recovery & strength in my elbow/arm. I'm very grateful to them and all the friendly folks - Shon, Janica, Jessica, Sabrina - who contributed to my first experience with physical therapy. Highly recommended!!!"
"I agree with the previous review on the unprofessionalism at the Westgate location. My experience with the unprofessionalism was with the front desk reception people and then the Location Clinic Director. One of the receptionists actually gave me a schedule of my times for the upcoming month and said that I had discussed this with them the prior week. This was not the case and I knew that even before I was finally given a copy of the schedule and then when I saw there were times that conflicted with appointments I had with my allergist for shots and they had been aware of that conflict from the start of my going there. I tried to ask her questions about the schedule but she hid her body behind the computer and kept waving her hand at me from the opening of the reception desk saying sorry there was nothing she could do. I went on with my therapy and my PT spoke to me about it. What she did not know was that I had heard the receptionist talking to her about the situation. This type of behavior happened often there. I told my PT when I left there that day I would be contacting someone with management because this was not the first time I had experienced scheduling issues. She did not offer the information about the Location Clinic Director actually being there in the building at that time & give me the opportunity to speak with him right then. When I got home I called the main phone number and asked to speak with the manager of that location. I spoke with him & he basically took the side of the receptionist immediately which meant he was saying I was not being truthful about having no input with the schedule I was given. I told him that I wanted to talk to the person over him and he stated that he would have them call me in the next 48 hours. Then he started saying unkind things about me to deflect the issue I was reporting to him. I let him know that was unacceptable and that I would find the person and his/her phone number as soon as we hung up. He then told me I could not come for anymore of my scheduled appointments. I hung up and got in contact with the Clinic Director who oversees all of their clinics in the Austin area. He agreed that there was definitely unprofessionalism with both the Location Clinic Director and that he was dealing with that. He then said that I could just switch over and start coming to the location where he worked. I told him I would consider it but also felt that with his decision to do that instead of handling the situation there and letting me continue my therapy at the WG location made it seem that I had not been truthful about not having input of my schedule to get therapy for the upcoming month. I told him I would think about it but after a couple of hours I decided to just be done with Texas Physical Therapy Specialists. I have found another PT and feel they are much better with the therapy AND their professionalism!!"
"Their unprofessionalism has humiliated me for years. Back in 2017, I told them that I had a history of back fusion in 2012 but my Asian female therapist didn't believe and laughed at me my situation because I felt so much pain but stopped immediately, I ended up having another back surgery, pretty sad story but I will never trust physical therapy again"
"The whole team is friendly and attentive. My doctor is Caleb Ofori. His calm demeanor and informed suggestions helped me learn about my own responsibilities for improving my foot strength after surgery. The exercises and massages were perfectly suited to my needs and I have numerous exercises to continue at home. The team made it fun to go to my appointments, honestly it's been a pleasure to work on healing with this clinic."
"Dr. Grace got me back to feeling like a young person again after tearing cartilage in my hip. He is SO GOOD at manual therapy-- he restored my flexibility nearly back to normal in many fewer visits than I'd anticipated. He taught me a lot about proper form on the strength training exercises. I feel like I'm leaving with knowledge and incredible healing. All the staff are great and the fill in PTs are great as well. Highly recommend. Convenient and easy to get to location too."
