"I am a veteran who was referred to Aquatic Care by the V.A.a couple of months ago and on my first visit I was barely able to walk because of my back and leg pain. As of today there is no need for a walker or cane. I have received therapy from the majority of the therapist and every single one have been a God sent. Every visit has been a joy and every week I looked forward for my treatment. Highly recommend. place"
"Seriously the best phyiscal therapist. All approachable and empathic. Working on personal goals plus what doctors want. They also have dry side. Patients do not have to wear masks if they don't want to, yay! Super friendly front desk staff and billing office."
"Shelby is the simply the best, (at least my current favorite). I have liked every other therapist I have worked with also. They are very gentle and listen very well to each individual’s specific needs. I look forward to my physical therapy which is something I have hated at other physical therapy places in the past. I highly recommend them."
"My first experience was in 1994 in which the doctors from Herman hospital sent me to Aquatic Care as they thought program would benefit my condition. At the time I was working for USPS. Treatment was really beneficial before and after my lower back surgery. After my back surgery in 2001 I had a hard time walking, standing and my daily activities. It was unbelievable what therapy did for me in terms of helping me manage the pain and physical limitations. I would recommend Aquatic Care programs for water therapy. I was impressed with the therapist's knowledge of my condition. I would recommend this therapy clinic to anyone. My experience of therapy here has been second to none. The therapists are the best I have seen anywhere!! Since 1994 I have recommended Aquatic Care to all my Doctors, friends and family."
"I am a Veteran who has used Aquatic Care Program in Humble TX. The first time was during a period when the pool was down at the VA Medical Center in Houston Texas. After repairs were made to the VA aquatic therapy pools, I was not allowed to return to the Humble facility, although it was located just blocks from my home. This became a hardship for me to get the much needed aquatic therapy I required. My VA doctors who requested this therapy for me, applied for a hardship allocation through the VA, which was subsequently approved. I also feel that I get a more personalized therapeutic routine, individualized based on the needs and requirements to give me the best results. Some exercises are the same as the VA, however, I'm able to get what I feel is much better results due to the deeper water necessary to correctly get the best end result. I also have more exercises added to my routine there than I do at the VA facility. I feel that my aqua therapy is much better at the Aquatic Care Programs facility because I'm able to do a much better deep water routine. This gives me overall body therapy, without having to straddle objects and fight to stay positioned on them at the VA pool due to its less than 5 foot depth. The therapy at Aquatic Care is also overseen by individual therapists who oversee only 2-3 clients at most, so I get more one-on-one care there. The therapists are in the pool working with you constantly, not on the side of the pool or in their office on the phone. I was also approved for massage therapy after my workout, which greatly helps relieve the pain I have in my calves, back and neck. This is not offered at the VA pool."
