"I was diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuralgia, which is a debilitating electric pain in one side of the face that can come on randomly and/ or with triggers. Imagine having root canal without anesthesia on all your teeth at once. My triggers included (but not limited to) brushing my teeth, biting, swishing, slurping, drinking and kissing my husband. On top of that I had a constant burning & tingling. this condition is knicknamed the "Suicide Disease " because of the way it causes depression & anxiety. Each person will take time to answer whatever questions you may have and they never make you feel like they are too busy to take their time with you. The environment is warm and friendly. "I had a fall in the bathtub about 10 years ago and it affected my ability to walk. I immediately sought treatment with an orthopedic specialist. Under his treatment plan, I received injections and physical therapy. All of this was done without success. Two years later, he suggested knee surgery. That worsened my condition.
