"This cafe is authentic and super cozy. Perfect for winter when you need hot and delicious coffee. Absolutely recommend visiting!"
"One of the cutest and most delicious corner shops in Lincoln Square! If you’re spending your money at chain corporate shops, you’re missing out. I’m a big fan of (caramel) lattes, mochas and chais, and this place HITS all those mark. Quite tasty and much more affordable as well. The drink and food menus are extensive, and the cheese pastry was bomb! The vibes are super cozy, and I can definitely be there for hours. Yay small businesses! Bless this place with love :)"
"It's family owned. When I came in a sweet old lady was running things. It felts like I stepped into a cozy home. I love supporting small businesses so I will definitely come again. I got their seasonal hot cider and a delicious muffin. ( i recommend the cookie and creme) I didn't even have to ask the lady to warm it up, but she served it warm like I like it. Sorry no Pic. I usually don't take pics of food before I eat."
"If you are going to Starbucks instead of Red Eye you are truly missing out. Nowhere else are you going to get the loving touch and character of this mom and pop shop. I got the veggie melt and it was so perfectly assembled with olive oil drizzle. Also the interior of the place makes you want to stay and hang out forever!!!"
"I came here to work on a Sunday afternoon, and it is just the kind of place I have been looking for. They have a nice (thought not particularly wide or diverse) selection of teas. (I don’t know the coffee because I haven’t had any yet.) I got some quiche that was oven (not microwave) heated and it was excellent, served even with a little side of fruit (a nice touch, though unsolicited; it was a bit slow and the person working the counter seemed to be feeling friendly). In terms of environment, this place really has two kinds of cafe in one. There is one area, pictured in their main photo, which is more spacious and have smaller 2-person tables, great for people who need rigid work spaces. I like the back corner, pictured below, since I like spreading out some on a comfy amongst some clutter. (Feels very midwestern, which is comforting and reminiscent of home.) It was generally quiet and great for working, and the person working told me it’s generally this quiet. Overall, a lovely spot. I will surely be back here to get more work done!"
