At Pedestrian Coffee, we prioritize building meaningful relationships with the growers and co-ops that we source our coffee from. Whether we are working directly with growers or through like-minded importers, we strive to pay approximately 2-3 times the fairtrade price to ensure that a fair portion of the proceeds goes back to the farmers.

"Walk on over to Pedestrian Coffee in Logan Square! Their coffee is some of the best the city has to offer. And the hand brewed coffee creations are superb: I’m especially partial to the Nutella latte. During the winter months the Peppermint Mocha, made with all natural ingredients, is phenomenal. The staff is extremely friendly, always serving the customers, both regulars and randoms walk-ins, with warm smiles. The atmosphere is welcoming (people, dogs, children) and the bar-style counter gives the feeling of an old-school diner. Great place to grab a coffee, connect with acquaintances, or do some work. Highly recommended."
"This is a really good coffee shop. The staff are incredibly kind, remember your name, and will always do their best to make sure your drink is what you want. It’s a somewhat quiet place—great to get some work done, but not too chatty if that’s what you want. Overall, a great addition to the neighborhood."
"I’ve searched high and low for my favorite coffee shop in the neighborhood and finally found it. Pedestrian has the best baristas and best coffee in Logan. Their seasonal pumpkin latte is fantastic and not too sweet. Or the crowd pleaser favorite, the Charlatte is excellent. Every time I’m there (which is almost daily)- it’s always a great conversation, excellent drinks and fantastic service! Don’t miss out on their house baked goods as well."
"Pedestrian Coffee is a fantastic addition to Logan Square. Excellent coffee, baked goods, and homemade ice cream. Their coffee is expertly sourced directly from farms around the world. Good vibes all around from Pedestrian. The same high quality and service has made its way from their other location on Belmont. If flavored drinks are your thing, you have to try the Charlatte & Nutella Latte. Well balanced and delicious. The same goes for their traditional coffee items. There’s something to enjoy for everyone here. They’re in the process of adding more seating. Until then, enjoy bar service and seating by the windows. Can’t wait to come back!"
