"Everything +Everyone is wonderful as usual +I can't thank them ❤️ enough for getting me off of the Fentanyl patch after over 15 years. I'm happy +healthy thanks to Nuhope, it's counselors, it's program +most of all to Becky for giving me the courage to reclaim my life."
"10/12/2003 So I've been with New Hope for one year after I have my knee replacement surgery and I have to admit the office staff and the counseling is awesome my counselor Gina is the best that what she does and I thank her for that. but the PA has gone way downhill it seems to me that the PA doesn't care about the patients if they're in pain or listen to what the patient is explaining about their pain and they go off and do what they feel like is best for themselves not the patient also I was informed about billing issues when I first started they said I will not have any out-of-pocket cost and now I'm being charged $15,000 for their services Great place for pain management there perspective on dealing with pain is outstanding if you're wanting to get off the pain meds then this place right here Will put a whole new stand on your pain managemet"
"Wow! In an out within an hour and was informed of what would happen throughout my upcoming surgery and post-op. Great team."
"NuHope has been a surprisingly great experience in helping me with rehabilitation in my physical and mental health .The staff have been helpful and understanding with utmost compassion ! After 13 surgeries in the past 20 years, including 8 back surgeries, NuHope has been by my side weekly for the last 14 months, the staff, especially my counselors Becky and Gina for being by my side through recovery, throughout the past year . Also Leslie at the front desk answering my calls and Vanessa directing me around the old and new clinic on Paesano Road."
"I have been a patient at NuHope for several months now' I had been on high doses of opiods for several years as the result of a series of broken bones including a broken femur that would not heal for four years putting me a wheelchair for that time, I have Rheumatoid Arthritis as well' Due to the government's crackdown on these prescription medicines I was faced with uneasy task of what to do. It didn't hurt that I'd been praying for God to help me find a way off of them! When I arrived at NuHope I, was seen by P.A. Becky G. who would be managing my rehabilitation and prescribe the medications I had been taking with the goal of discontinuing them completely. I have been so happy with her. She allowed me to reduce my dosages a little at a time never pushing me when I felt like I needed another week or two before lowering my dosage. at the same time, she was encouraging me in doing the best I could. I cannot say enough good things about her. I am almost sorry I will be leaving drug free in six weeks. In case you are wondering what and how much I was taking before NuHope, I was on 100mg of Fentanyl with 8 doses of 15mg oxycodone daily! I am 70 years young! I am proud to say that I am off the Fentanyl and on 3 doses of 20mg oxy now and going down 1/2 tablet weekly! As a patient there, you are required to have a private meeting with a psychologist and group meetings weekly. My therapist, Jessika V. has been wonderful. I had never been in counseling so I didn't know what to expect. She is awesome! She allows me to talk about whatever is on my mind in a judgement free zone! She makes me think about things that I had never considered. She has a wealth of knowledge and has taught me mindful and therapeutic ways to examine the way I think and act. It's actually been fun and, I am considering staying with her after I am finished with the program! I also attend group counseling with others trying to reduce their pain medications for various reasons. At first, I wasn't keen on doing this. It felt uncomfortable but, it turned out to be really great. I learned so much and found myself caring about these people who are going through what I am. It gives you different perspectives and keeps you from feeling alone in your struggles, I have made a couple of great friends who, like me, are ordinary people trying to overcome their addictions. Collin and Jessika are wonderful group leaders. I am so glad to have them. We talk about so many things, share problems and more-all guided by the leader. We learn so many ways to deal with our pain that are really helpful. I will certainly miss these meetings! I would recommend NuHope to anyone who wants to get off their pain medicines so they can truly live their lives. I am so blessed to have found NuHope. I can't imagine doing this any other way! I promise you that it will change your life."
