"My wife brought her Subaru forester here a handful of times and had nothing but great things to say. Recently, we leased a New forester for my wife and I took the old car. I bought tires from tire rack to be installed at Vaupell because of our previous experience. Again I have nothing but great things to say regarding service and installation. I was able to ship the tires directly to Vaupell. They installed them the next day along with the needed tire alignment. Everything went smoothly and I will be bringing our old forester back for our service needs. I am loyal to subaru in countryside for our manufacturer repairs, but everything else I’ll be using Vaupell."
"Fantastic service. Detailed and timely communication. Images included of your vehicle being worked on. 10 out of 10. Have been (and will continue to) recommend Vaupell's to friends, coworkers, neighbors, and family. Plus... their warranty is longer than anyone in the surrounding area. Good luck finding a better mechanic."
"Very reliable place. Failed emission test last time, reasonable price to fix it—whatever Brian did –it was a lot less than the amount my daughter’s car cost at another mechanic ($250 more). Failed again this year, but Vaupell looked at it again just now, said that it would probably pass it if I drove it around for a while, and if the engine light stayed off when I took the test, (it is a 19-year-old car and I am driving it into the ground). Which test I will take next week. No charge for the quick look-see, apparently in appreciation for my earlier business. If you have wives or daughter, or are yourself a lady, you can send them or go yourself to Vaupell. Clean, respectful surroundings, and no gasoline alley language or feel to the place. Keurig coffee too. Highly recommended - the opposite of a clip joint. Only bad thing is the traffic light they are at. 6-corner intersection. Let you know when I pass. Epilogue: I passed. Something like 3 weeks after I posted the review above. Without going back to Vaupell. Took a few tries because the check engine light kept coming on and that's an automatic fail. Pro tip: if your check engine light comes on do not even try to pass the test. You will use up one of your fails. Went from failed to "reject" which is a positive development. Finally passed. Very appreciative to Brian and Vaupell."
"As someone who handles vehicle maintenance for a small ambulance company in the area, I understand the importance of finding a reliable and trustworthy service provider. In the past I had dealt with various local dealerships for maintenance, but the customer service was never great. Often, we felt like we were inconveniencing them by bringing in our business and were sometimes grossly overcharged. Since we began using Vaupell for regular maintenance on our vehicles, the process has become infinitely simpler. The team at Vaupell is always friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. They provide a detailed comprehensive run-down of work that was completed and recommended. Quick turnaround on our vehicles is essential for us to provide our patients with safe and efficient service, and I'm grateful to have a partner like Vaupell to make that possible. I would highly recommend Vaupell Auto Repair to anyone with vehicle maintenance needs."
"Brian Vaupell from Vaupell Auto is the best in the industry regarding knowledge and skills, his shop is the only place I have ever truly trusted my vehicle to be at. I have lived in 8 states and many cities and never had found a completely trustworthy shop. The irony is when we moved to Brookfield in 2016, his shop is like 10 blocks walking distance which makes it very convenient. Brian and his techs are a true gem in an industry that isn’t known for always doing the right thing. Brian will always do right by his customer even if it costs him. In the long run he makes it up because he has loyal customers like me - where if I moved away from the area I will still drive in to take my car to get serviced here. I can’t say enough good things about him and his team. Shout out to Nate and Jesse as they go above and beyond in service and physical work. If there were more stars this shop would get 10. I have been coming here for 6 years and will never go anywhere else. Only other place I take my cars is the dealership when getting warranty work is done. My current vehicles are a 2019 Dodge Challenger SXT and a 2021 Dodge Durango R/T, and they are safe under Brian’s watch. I have had 5 prior vehicles that this shop has serviced as well - a 2002 Chevy Venture, a 2006 Chrysler Sebring GTC, a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix, a 2005 Ford Expedition, and a 2019 Dodge Journey Crossroad."
