Walmart Pharmacy

"To understand the one star rating, a bit of background is required. There was a fire that devastated the store, so they needed to set up a portable pharmacy. This is great, until today - Saturday. I'd called my prescription of albuteral sulfate in for a refill on Thursday, all automated like before. I was told that it would be ready for pickup on Friday after 4 pm. Well, life happens, so after work Saturday I went to pick up the prescription. Come to find out, the phone number is in no way linked to the portable pharmacy and the techs have no way of accessing the records of the prescriptions. Which leads to the one star - they had 4 weeks to take down or reroute the number to the portable pharmacy. They did not. Instead, with a smile on his face, the tech said he could run the prescription if I had a doctor call it in or prescription to turn in. On a Saturday. I asked if he was serious, how would that work for the weekend. With the same customer service smile, he said the emergency room could help me. The same Emergency room that would charge me $15k for the pleasure of attempting to kill me. So now, no rescue inhaler or albuteral solution for the nebulizer - this is a back handed attempt at my life. At least, that's what it sure feels like. Callous, nothing personal - just business. So no, I will not be using their services again, assuming I survive the weekend (kinda dramatic here but not. Drowning in my own mucus is not fun.)"

"Most of the time I get a 10 out of 10 service. As with all companies here are occasional hiccups but I can tell this staff works diligently to do their best. I've been using them for my prescriptions for over 10 years along with occasionally going to other pharmacies here in Clovis. What keeps me steadily using Walmart pharmacy? 1. Price 2. Medication availability 3. Friendly staff 4. Short wait times 5. Consistency of the above. Thank to the staff that makes this happen!"

"Girl told me they “lost their contract” with Tricare, so that was a fun surprise. Super unprofessional and slow. I had a script sent hours before I came to pick it up, and they had only filled one of the two medicines. Really disappointed."

"I’m on very much needed antipsychotics and I only get enough till I see my psychiatrist. They got my prescriptions around 12:30 and they still were not ready by 6. They changed their hours to 10am-6pm so they open later and close sooner. I’m now on 24 hours of no medications and already getting the the side effects of the withdrawal that comes with some of the meds."

"Told me that my pills wouldn't make me drowsy and make sure I take them in the morning... the label says "will make you drowsy and/or dizzy, do NOT operate machinery/equipment"...YUP, I was trashed by the time I got to work to operate machinery!!! Slept for 2 days straight after popping them per their instructions"
