"I went to SI bc of the good reviews. But I didn’t get the good service I was expecting. I paid him 660.00 dollars for doing my brakes and replacing a lower control arm. My brakes still made noises that I had to take it to someone to get it redone paying and additional 100 bucks. Then when I called him he wouldn’t answer the phone or get back with me. I told him that when I would apply the brakes my steering wheel jerked to the left. He told me when to bring it in and he was never there. I would call and call and he wouldn’t return my call. I was out off 660.00 dollars and my car is still in the same shape it was in at the beginning. Now I’m going to be out of more money having to put it in a shop somewhere else. After seeing the reviews I thought I had a good mechanic but I didn’t. He charged me 320.00 for brakes and 340.00 for a lower control arm and I’m still having problems with my car."

"I chose to go to SI for my car after several people online recommended them, but I made a dire mistake doing so. $1,400 later and my car is driving worse than when I brought it to him, he’s fixed essentially nothing, presumably lied to me, and then ghosted me. I was nothing but patient and kind to him the entire time too. My brakes still squeal, my car still hums, my belt is squeaking when it wasn’t before…what did I pay $1,400 for? Maybe he treats men fairly but if you’re a female, especially a broke female college student like I am, he’s probably going to rip you off too. Went to him because of squeaking brakes, a rough ride, humming with the AC on, windshield washer fluid leak, and coolant loss. I will admit, he fixed the windshield washer fluid issue and the suspension is *slightly* better, but my brakes still squeal (after charging me $75 to “fix” it), my car still makes the humming noise, and I have a new addition to the family — the belt he replaced is squealing like crazy. He’s gonna “call me tomorrow” though, for a several weeks now. $1,400 for what, exactly?"
