"The lease on our Lincoln ran out, and the dealership where we originally leased it no longer sold or serviced Lincoln. Lincoln Corporate advised us that Mt. Vernon had bought out the other dealership's contract and instructed us to return the leased vehicle there. Although not terribly convenient geographically, we made the necessary arrangements. We had an appointment to return the car on Sat morning. When we arrived, neither the sales guy we had been talking to nor the finance manager (who was the only one who could process the paperwork) were available. The finance guy, in fact, was on vacation. We left the car - as instructed - and expected them to mail or email us the requisite paperwork at a later date - as we were informed they would. Today, we learned that this is impossible; that we have to come back in person to sign said forms. Very unfriendly, very unprofessional dealership."
