"My daughters and I were heading somewhere else for dinner before picking up my husband from the airport but when we saw the Small Cheval sign, I whipped the fastest U-turn. We city girls are big fans and this new location doesn’t disappoint. We found ourselves here on the first day the dining room was open and everyone was so kind and welcoming. Very happy for my suburban brethren that they get their own location! The outdoor dining promises to be lovely and there’s a drive through option too!"

"On the soft opening visit, I would give it five stars. They're still setting up the inside but the drive-through delivery was a nice treat.! I would just ask for the fries extra crispy as ours were a little bit soft, but the double patty burger was on point! And so was the thick vanilla milkshake Do not forget to ask for the aioli to dip your fries. So nice to see the GM, Steven working at the window of the Drive thru walking orders to the cars in line. And a sidenote, anybody going to pick up an order, In the delivery/pickup area ordering is on the left. Pick up is on the right. Don’t hurry through this tight area either trying to rush out you might get in a fender bender. I gave the atmosphere 4 stars as this is gonna be a really cramped location no matter which way you slice it. It’s still a beautiful addition to this Au Cheval restaurants that are located in the city.. And worth it to anybody who’s looking for a really delicious burger close to the airport. I can confirm after eating several times at the original location on Randolph Street the burgers are on point identical to the ones they serve there. And now, this location has a famous fried chicken sandwich and tenders too! Last thing: the meat is beef. Not actually Cheval."
