"Food doesn’t taste good at all. The soup and mac/cheese smell terrible. The sandwiches don’t taste the same. This location isn’t good."
"Ordered $40 of food and they tell me they Dont accept $100s. Also they didnt package my food, the cashier just handed me a bag for my sandwiches. When I asked about them takong $100s, they told me its because they hadnt made enough sales that day. I dont do business with places that dont accept cash. If it wasnt for my son being there I would have walked out without the food. Last time to potbellies for me"
"i’ve seen potbellies all over the place, but I had never been to one until just now. I was not disappointed, it’s a nice little sandwich place but it’s got salads and other options too. I would definitely return, the decor was nice like an old New York deli, and even had outdoor seating, although it was too cold and rainy when we went. Easy parking."
"I give the Potbelly Sandwich Shop in downtown Des Plaines 5 stars. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I appreciate that I was able to get a hot warm sandwich to go, in a short amount of time. I ordered the "Wreck" which certainly is just like it says on the menu, a meat lover's Paradise. I appreciate they have lots and lots of crunchy chips to choose from including the Zapp's New Orleans style kettle potato chips. There is plenty of parking around this Potbelly's, and it is easy to get in and out of the shop."
"Not sure what happened to this spot but it’s going downhill. I ordered two soups and was the only one in line and neither were ready by the time I checked out. They also didn’t have a tray for me and the soup just wasn’t good. What has happened to this location. Very Disappointing because Potbelly’s is great but this location needs help or a new manager. The broccoli soup wasn’t good. Cold and bad. You can do better people. I’ll go to the one down the street next time."
