"Good food for a good price, I ordered the steak taco dinner and was not disappointed. Staff was great I definitely recommend this place"
"We waited about half an hour for a simple burritos which were even not warm enough and in one was a 2 inches sharp bone! They charged $3.50 for just a coke! Goofy service! Should be no star at all! What makes it EXTREME- I just checked my credit card activities; they trying to double charge it !!! = D I S A S T E R !"
"Mexcal Mexican grill is located in a strip mall right off of Wolf Road. The dining area is pretty spacious, with slot machines to win tonight’s dinner (I’m kidding) and seating area on the other side. Seating area consisted of tables and chairs (no booths) and a bar area with overhanging tv. There’s a jukebox near the end, where the hallway to the bathrooms are. The semi-open kitchen divides the two parts. The server and staff were nice and friendly. We got some chips and salsa as we waited for our food. The chips were room temperature and needed salt. The green salsa was good, while the red one was rather hot. If you like spicy, go for the red. I ordered the taco dinner, which consists of 3 tacos of your choice, and rice and refried beans. I went with the fish, shrimp, and carne asada. I wanted the lengua, but they didn’t have any available when I was there. Tacos consists of two corn tortillas, semi warm, and all tacos was protein, onion, cilantro, and tomato. No taco set each other apart besides the protein itself. Nothing really impressive about the tacos. Seasoning was somewhat bland. The shrimp taco had its shrimp cut up in pieces, and for the fish taco, it was grilled. These are not complaints, but observations. I personally like my steak cooked to a slight crisp, and my fish taco battered. Overall, food was ok. BATHROOM REVIEW: located at the end of the dining area, the bathrooms consisted of single-person bathrooms. There’s a designated womens, and a woman/men bathroom. The woman/men bathroom looked to be newly remodeled. Inside it had a toilet, sink, and changing table, and everything was nice and clean. Sit or squat? Sit!"
"The service was good and the waiter was friendly. Their large Michelada was worth it! The surf-n-turf taco dinner is phenomenal! Great sauce and very delicious. The Mescal taco dinner is worth a try too. The restaurant is spacious enough for a casual lunch and it's Covid-19 friendly too."
"The food was pretty good and the margaritas were sweet but good as well. I would definitely go back if I lived in the area but the name has changed I believe. Friendly service"
