"First time ordering from this place, their Asada nachos were delicious but their torta de milaneza de rez was not all that good the meat was hard to chew and hardly had flavor I’m a little disappointed at that."
"i recently moved to the area and was looking for mexican food, and so i decided to try this place from google maps. i ordered the steak burrito special with rice and beans for takeout, and it was delicious! the burrito was big and the steak was seasoned well. i was pleasantly surprised and excited to have found a great mexican place nearby. this has become my go-to, and i will definitely be back often!"
"Came here after buying a dozen donuts next door. If you don't smell the sweet aroma from Wheeling Donuts, hoo boy. This place pretty much had me floating over after checking out the donuts. The inside is very small. There's seating for maybe 10-20 people, but it's tight. If you haven't taken the booth seats, they have plastic dividers between the seats. Their breakfast, lunch and dinner menus surround the order altar, and the pricing wasn't too bad in this market. I had a chicken burrito, which came with the complementary hot sauce and salsa verde. While some parts of the burrito didn't seem to be seasoned at all, the salsa verde was what hit the spot. The acidity and spice wasn't as strong as Hay Chihuahua in Lake Zurich, but from the amount, you can really adjust to your liking. Personally, I wanted to drink this if I had more. I have a feeling that some ingredients in there went missing like the rice and the beans since I only tasted that at the end, but the portions to price were acceptable. The burrito's overall girthiness prompts for two large bites."
"I have been wanting to try the famous birria and this restaurant did not let me down. PROS: Great price for the amount of food. The female working helped me in every way with my order. Quick service! CONS: WAYYY to much cheese."
"First time eating at this restaurant. It's okay, the service was good our waitress was friendly. The service was a bit suspiciously fast.....the food was out super fast but the meat was cold. It felt like it was previously cooked and just reheated now I did say it felt I am not sure about this. I totally did not like their agua de horchata. The alpastor had good flavor but it was a bit dry and cold. The asada was a bit chewy and cold. The chorizo taco was really good. The sope was pretty good, it was soft and felt fresh. The beans were good too. They had no coctel de camaron even though it was on their menu. Now I did go on a Wednesday night 30 minutes before it closed so I dont know if this affected the quality of food. I would try it on a weekend maybe it's better and more fresh."
