"We recently went to Christmas tea at the Drake. The food was excellent and our server, Mary was wonderful! She was so kind and attentive. We truly enjoyed our experience and will be returning!"

"Came for brunch with Santa on a Sunday. The hostess and waiter/waitress were friendly. I wish there were more drink options without having to constantly ask, only water, coffee and mimosa was easily available. Food is decent. There are the typical breakfast options including omelette stations. Then there are some lunch options. Dessert was delicious."

"Disappointed. I made my holiday lunch reservation several weeks before going 12/2023. Day of reservation (2 hours before) I got a call from the Drake telling me that they needed to cancel the reservation. I explained that I was visiting from out of state with my family and that this was our Christmas lunch. I was told that we needed to be out by 1:15 (reservation was for 11:45). I agreed. The staff was setting up the high tea all around us, super loud, front desk was using the phone system over the loud speaker doing call reminders etc. it was by NO means relaxing and not the special event. I was married at the Drake in the city many years ago, and this is not reminiscent of the Drake."

"Review is for high tea and not meal service. Atmosphere: 5. Lovely fireplace seating. Decor and warmth of room was very nice Presentation: 4. Table was a bit crowded for the # of things on it Explanation: 1. This fell short. There were five jams/compotes on the table. No explanation of what each was. No description or summary of tea sandwiches when served, nor of the type of scones, bread and deserts. When asked, was hurriedly told what they thought it was. Huge missed opportunity to sell high tea. Food: 3. the bread on the sandwiches was dry on the top, which means they are sitting out in the kitchen. Tea was good quality loose tea but limited choices. Only one black tea out of nine total. However they do replenish the dishes which is a nice touch Service: 3.5. kind, nice but not knowledgeable about high tea. Requests for refills were promptly taken care of, I just wish we would have had more explanation about what they served. The staff and room made it nice experience overall but will not return for high tea."

"Wanted to give this place a try after seeing it on open table. The photos looked really great with the outdoor seating area. However, when we got there it was booked for a shower. I wish it would've stated that particular area was not available for that day that was one of the reasons I booked it. But, the food was phenomenal! Everything was well seasoned! The mango margaritas were a hit! I will be returning here hopefully I'll get the chance to experience the outdoor seating next time."
