"I purchased a bag of what was labeled "espresso." It was NOT espresso. It was medium roast, coarse ground. I can't believe coffee roasters would 1) not know what real espresso is; 2) label a medium roast coarse-ground coffee "espresso." I was really frustrated that I had to go back to Spirito's and have them explain that it wasn't THEIR espresso, but Mina's "espresso blend." They exchanged it for a can of Lavazza, which is real Italian espresso,. Espress is a very dark, oily bean and espresso grind is almost as fine as talcum. Please label your coffee accurately and don't try to pass off medium roast as espresso."

"Certified "Cafe Do Brasil" is something you don't see ANYWHERE in the United States. We have been to Brasil and many of its medium to large cities. I've had the best coffee Brasil has to offer. These guys hit the mark and are so on-point. So when you own/work with the farmers/families directly and roast beans so well and perfectly that you could do it in your sleep, no wonder the result is rich, inviting and exquisite coffee. Recently discovered this at Schnuck's Markets in St. Louis. I'm glad they didn't have the Lavazza Espresso I was looking for because we found a real gem. I don't want to buy my espresso beans from anyone else anymore. In addition to that, the owner, Bruno, confirmed the grinding profile we desired for our Moka pot prior to shipping it to us, which included a personal note and another, yet-to-be-released roast as a thank you. If you like Cafe Intelligentsia and those of that ilk (high-end, boutique roasters), this is as good or better, and certainly takes the crown for Brazilian coffee sold in the U.S. Give them a try and you won't sip anyone's coffee again... promise."
