Reviews of Lucille Restaurant At Drury Lane
"The Christmas brunch was amazing! The service made it worth the price. The food was pretty good and as expected. There was a nice variety of breakfast and dinner items. They kept our glasses full of mimosas and orange juice. It would have been nice for apple juice to be served as well, but you were able to get it self serve. We would return!"
"We did Dinner with Santa last night. The ambiance and decor was great, exactly what you would want for Christmas, but the food was really bad and the service was even worse. First, it’s the smallest spread i’ve ever seen for a buffet. There were more options for the kids than the adults. The prime rib was super fatty. The mac and cheese tasted like velveeta with too much truffle oil. The chicken tenders were like reheated costco quality. The salad was ok, but you dont pay these prices to fill up on salad. The hot chocolate was gross because they added a ton of cinnamon to it. How do you mess up hot chocolate? The cupcakes tasted like they were Jewel grocery store brand cakes that were discounted because they were 4 days old. The elbow pasta was watery, like they just added cheap sauce to over cooked noodles. Even worse was the service. When we were sat, we asked for a different table because our son had just had surgery and wanted better space, and the hostess declined. Our waitress didn’t offer a refill on any drinks. And the runners did not collect used plates, so we had to stack our used plates while we grabbed another helping. When we wanted to voice our poor experience to the manager, they could not be found. Our bill came to $200 for 4 people. It was a rip off. Overall, it was like high school cafeteria quality food with the Walmart level of service."
"The brunch buffet here is very good, with a few exceptions. Just a few things didn't taste great (like the vegetables and runny mashed Potatoes). The variety is excellent. We just wish there was a price for those who don't drink alcohol. It's super expensive, so that's obviously factored into the cost, so I don't understand why they charge such high prices for those under 21 who cannot drink. (Honestly for ANYONE who doesn't drink, but I'll let that go for now). They were good about filling water/ coffee/ asking if we wanted alcohol at first, but by the end, the service went down.... we waited a solid 20+ minutes before anyone came along for us to even ask for our bill. Truly, if we were dishonest people we could have walked out without paying."
"All I see on here is complaints but I want to give a good review. I really enjoyed everything. Yes it is a bit pricey. But come on it in a nice area with beautiful setting. Beautiful harp music playing as I sip on tasty tea. I sat next to a man who was complaining about his ratio portion food. I see nothing but complaints. Don’t go if it not for you. A shout out to the waitress who always made sure I was okay offered me more tea several times and gave me a refill on the champagne and always got more water with out asking. I wish I had the recipe to the cucumber sandwich amazing"
"The $60+ Champagne Brunch is pricey, but fantastic. Service was exceptional and constantly refilled our boozy drinks. The carving station and made to order donuts & waffle station were the highlights. Delicious food one can enjoy and splurge before a show or for a special occasion."
