"Just had a cocktail...run wild non alcoholic beer and a burger. Mother had a glass of wine and chicken picatta that she says was delicious. The burger was good size and delicious"

"Great meal. The service was excellent and the food was outstanding - oysters, twin medallions, Mike’s salad, and the pan fried bread. Oh and the dessert Chocolate ‘to die for’ layered cake - absolutely shareable!!!"

"Went to get dinner for my birthday, i have been here before but that doesn’t take away how nice this place is, and the waiters are very good at their jobs. For starters our table got the chef soup, Cesar salad, and the nachos. I ate everything on my plate!!! The nachos can be the star of the show haha I then chose the Day Boat Scallops with the risotto, per recommendation from our server (very good) i typically don’t like to branch out but that was a great choice. My date got the New York strip with a side of mashed potatoes, he enjoyed it all- wasn’t the biggest fan of the mushrooms but he typically doesn’t like mushrooms. The server then brought us dessert after he found out we were celebrating, they sang and gave me a birthday card. We enjoyed our visit and i will be back again!"

"Invited to a dinner seminar with high hopes at Ditka's Oakbrook. Been years since I've had Ditka's and looked forward to a great dinner. It was a slow Monday night, and a walk through the dining area provided a glimpse of da Coach. Our party was seated in the Lombardi room, outside the main dining area and provided little, atmosphere. We were welcomed and seated at our table with a pre-plated chopped salad. Unfortunately they all looked as they've been sitting for a while... iceberg lettuce, a few grape tomatoes, diced cucumbers, onions and a few croutons. There was no ranch or creamy garlic dressing as only a bland balsamic vinaigrette dressing was available. Putting the salad aside, we took in a long presentation and really looked forward to our entree choices; a Breaded Cod and Filet Medallions. Proteins were a hit, however the sides of mashed potatoes and dirty rice were dried out and tasteless. Our table finished the bread rolls and our server could not refill our basket. We made the best to eat around the starches and did find Ditka's house Red Pinot Noir and white Pinot Grigio satisfying. The raspberry sorbet was also a tasty treat to wrap up the evening. So all in all not a great meal. The helpful host and attentive staff saved this from a two star experience. Ditka's Oakbrook missed the mark on prepared presentation, would think diners would have a different experience dining in Ditka's main or bar area."
