"Hi ! A very atmospheric pub, a bit reminiscent of the times of the wild west. I had lunch here with my wife. We liked. Fast delivery. Traditional food. The beer is great. Moderate prices. My recommendations for visiting."

"Went to dinner at Firkin for the first time in a long time. Very disappointing. Menu has changed for the worse. Very complicated beer and cocktail menu. Prices have skyrocketed, but that’s to be expected in downtown Libertyville so no big deal. Food was, in a word, awful. And place was largely dead on a Friday evening. Won’t be going back anytime soon. Used to really like this place."

"Another "not my first time here, but first Google Review" for this place! Love the festive decor inside and outside of this spot. Food is delicious and has every type of taste from around the world. Not pictured here but ordered the Cuban Toasties for appetizers were good but would pass up next visit. Pictured here is their Lobster Ravioli which was filled and nicely packed Lobster and cheeses. Much of their food is not overly salty."

"Have always loved Firkin. Great lunch and dinner spot with festive twinkle lights lining the ceiling. Large bar with tons of drink options. I love the menu but wasn’t impressed with the cod tacos — incredibly under seasoned. Could’ve used a spicy sauce or more salt. I will still continue to come back here though!"

"Nice restaurant, better location. The food here was pretty good. We had the tacos, burger, and some calamari. We had a mix drink, and one of their ciders. The calamari was definitely good. The burger was average. The tacos were delicious. The drinks we good as well. They had multiple choices for seating. Indoors, outdoors, or a side patio. The waiter was friendly and prompt. The decorations inside and out were pretty cool to look at. They had a front and rear entrance. However, the front entrance is not accessible. I found that a bit odd. I'm not sure if it was due to it being a weekday, or if it's always not in use. This is definitely a place we would frequent again. I just dont think they blew us away."
