"First time here. Went on a Thursday night & we were seated right away. I did notice that if you make a reservation, you won't be seated until your entire party arrives, just so you know! It's dim inside & gives off a comfy, cozy feel at the same time looking like it could use a dusting, haha. I was super excited seeing that frog legs were an option on the menu, but when they arrived, I was disappointed. I expected them to be more cooked than what they were, but that's just my preference *shrug*. The taste was just OK, could use more seasoning. My hunny got a 14oz steak medium rare & he was disappointed in the flavor & temperature of it. It was thicker in the middle & it was cooked more rare :/ I ordered the half slab of BBQ ribs & they weren't anything to brag about. They weren't tender. We both agreed we would t go back. Our waitress was really friendly, tho!"
"Why are some people leaving a review for a place they haven't even eaten at? Ridiculous. I ate here with my husband and toddler New Year's Eve. We hadn't been here in over 6yrs. We had a great experience. Bella, our server was amazing. The timing of our food coming out was perfect. My husband had the shrimp bisque and filet medallions which were cooked perfectly. My scallops were delicious. A little too much garlic in the mashed potatoes for me. I didn't have to ask our server to bring our toddler's food out first. Overall, a wonderful experience."
"Well, on our grand adventure to pick up our brand new sailor we decided that as a last hurrah before we departed back south, we would get some food. We stopped off at jimmy's charthouse and I must say it was a fantastic decision. The food was extraordinarily good presentation was beautiful. The price warranted the food, I'll be at a little expensive. The food was so worth it.. But that pales in comparison to our server. A fine gentleman named Alex who was absolutely on top of his game. He was very quick about making sure we were taken care of he was super polite, super courteous and a very knowledgeable. As much as I hope to never find myself back in this state if I do I believe that we are going to make this a absolute stop in our travels."
"Sorry but this place was not great. Appetizers were mediocre. Tuna was thin and dry and seemed like it was reheated. Calamari was chewy. Scampi was all oil and way overpowered with lemon. Steak was done nicely, to bad it was over charred and bitter. Definitely won't be going here again."
"I like the newly updated interior. It's cozy but clean. The food is okay; our meat was slightly overcooked (pork chop), and the mashed potatoes weren't freshly made. The pork chop had only the carrots,no broccoli. French onion soup was tasty, but I've had better ones in the past. Kids' meals were decent. Their bread is pretty good, though."
