"UPDATE: Thursday, February 22, 2024: I have a unique medical condition. I was in the parking lot by Kooker's this evening and went in to ask to use the restroom. It was URGENT. The male seated next to the counter said NO ONLY FOR CUSTOMERS. I tried to explain that I am a frequent customer, mentioned our names, and said I just picked up food a few days ago... but my situation was truly urgent. I needed the restroom ASAP, so I spent almost $12 on 2 shakes that I didn't want, so I could use the restroom!! THANKS FOR DISPLAYING THE UTMOST horrific LACK OF EMPATHY & CUSTOMER SERVICE! I have been a Kooker's customer for years! Always fresh, hot, delicious food-prepared specifically by customers requests - if possible. Always goes above and beyond! Great recommendations when you are not sure what to choose from their extensive menu. Keeps track of customers' preferences and even sometimes calls to let us know about the special offers, etc! Honestly, they are very busy, so to take a moment to call a customer about something special going on with one of a customer favorites it true customer service at its best!! Kooker's, we appreciate all you do! Thanks Kooker's! And the Paczkis were delicious...see you soon!"

"Wouldn't substitute coleslaw for French fries and was very rude about telling me. Charged me $20 instead of $12 for substituting the fries. Told me to hurry up and pay"

"Even though they have relocated the homemade fresh cut fries are worth the trip. Great daily specials.Had a bacon cheeseburger, so tasty. The italian beef tasty with great flavour in gravy. Ordered the fresh cut fries with cheese. Very happy, full customer. It is such a must eat at or take out when you are in Lake Zurich. Eating at Kookers is like a home cooked meal with a warm hug. "the inside is tiny but my family of 5 lucked out and got the front table. Service was patient and kind with my kids. hand cut fries are delicious. Gyros was everything it should be. Quality hot dog, and an amazing tuna melt Friday special (on a fantastic marble rye). you can tell there is pride and love in that place. everyone but us was a regular. Highly recommend take out."
