"I've been following this food truck ever since I came back from Hawaii and love their food. I always get their Khalua pork, they service it with rice and mac salad as well as their masubi. Lately, I've been craving a malada since I never got one in Hawaii and now Flyin Hawaiin makes them too!! Malasada had a crisp to their "skin", I got the original and the cinnamon. I highly recommend this place."
"Was at the Naperville Summer Ale Fest and these guys looked interesting. I’m very glad I stopped. I had the Poke Nachos and they were amazing!! I normally take a picture of the food but once I started eating these nachos I couldn’t stop. I would drive an hours for these Poke Nachos to have them again."
"Delicious food. I am waiting for their food truck to make an appearance in my area again."
"We met the food truck in Villa Park for dinner tonight after hearing good things about the food from friends. I have to say, I was a little bit skeptical since we've been to Hawaii and we know what to expect. I have to say this food was absolutely amazing! We got the combo planner which included huli Hulu chicken, kaluha pork and kalbi beef (Hawaiian Korean short ribs). The sides were mac salad and white rice. Everything was wonderfully marinated and no one flavor stood out over another, it was all very nicely seasoned. The platter is easily more than enough for dinner for one person and each combo platter cost us $20 and we bought two so the total came to $40. We got there around 5:15 to 5:30 p.m., there was no line but there were people there. The food came out fast and it was hot when we got home. We have missed havingHawaiian food for many years and this brought back wonderful memories. We will definitely be lifelong customers."
