Portillo's & Barnelli's Naperville

"First stop out of ORD. They just opened one at home in Fort Worth, TX, but I haven’t been there yet. Got the Maxwell St. Polish Sausage, onion rings, and split an Italian Beef & Char Italian Sausage with a friend. The Polish was great, onion rings were onion rings. The Italian stole the show. Not sure I’ll even bother with anything else. Friend got a Chili Cheese Dog and he said it was… a chili cheese dog."

"Went through drive-through. Have always loved Portillo‘s. Haven’t been able to go there for over 12 years. The Italian beef sandwich w sweet peppers was delicious and of course the ever delectable Portillo’s chocolate case was simply scrumptious"

"I always get the roast beef when I come to this place! Ordered large roast beef with hot peppers and grilled onions, fries with cheese sauce and a drink. The sandwich is mouth drooling! But be careful, if you order it normally, it is very messy to eat as it’s dipped in that gravy. Do note - you can order it dry and have gravy on the side (highly recommend you do this if you order take out or delivery). The fries were just okay but the cheese sauce helped them taste better! I will always visit Portillos when I’m in the area!"

"Quick bite to eat! Food was delicious and I enjoyed it. Lovely atmosphere with lots of History, plenty of seating, fast service. Cool decorations of the 'gold rush ' era I believe. Food was delicious and we all enjoyed our options."

"Food was ok, the chocolate covered strawberry shake was the highlight. I was disappointed they didn't carry the pasta or other items anymore and it doesn't say that on the website or Google. The atmosphere is wonderful. I love the decor and the feel of stepping back into old Chicago."
