"This was the blandest and most disgusting Chinese we have ever had. I’m pretty sure the lo Mein noodles were angel hair spaghetti and the chicken was solid white. No seasoning, flavor, or sauce. Was really disappointed, but based on other reviews, maybe this is how Chinese is in Illinois? Unsure. We aren’t from here."

"When I used to live in the North burbs (Deerfield / Highland Park), there were these pick-up & go “americanized” chinese restaurants that had very good food, excellent quality, inexpensive yet the portions were exceptional. This place is very similar. There is no in-dining seating at most of these sites (a few exceptions), but this no-frills approach keeps the prices relatively low compared to dine-in eqivalents. However, there is no dim-sum, assorted dumplings nor any specials that are “extravagent” such as crispy Peking duck mu-shu style. But for what was ordered and the price point, its worth a visit. Ordered combo appetizer which came with a pork eggroll, 2 crab rangoon and 2 fried shrimp rings. Served hot and crispy, this was what was to be expected, and nice serving size. The chefs special pan fried noodles with combo chicken, beef, shrimp and vegetables was on-point. Again the pint serving, imo, is worth 4 meals (~4oz each). I have had many pan fried noodles over the decades and this was a very good version. The owners are friendly and deliver the food on-time. I was there 10 minutes prior to the promised time, which was delivered at exactly 10 minutes as I waited (I didnt mind the wait). It paid off as the food was still piping hot when I got it home."

"The best Chinese food in Naperville hands down! Everything is made fresh and the quality is great. A lot of places use low quality beef that is so tough, it’s like pork. They don’t use cheap filler vegetables in their dishes either. New Wok uses very good quality meat and quality vegetables. Support this fantastic local business."

"Good value, quick service, one (sometimes 2) tables but it is really just a take-out place. Almost always the prep is fast and delivered hot. Some items are better than others but overall it fine Chinese (with large portions) at good prices. Friendly counter staff. I give it a 5 relative to other carryouts. Yes, there is better Chinese food (at much higher prices), but for a neighborhood carryout, New Wok does not dissapoint."
