"Was greeted immediately and kindly by who seemed to be a manager at the front and he cleaned off some space at the bar for me and that’s basically where my only positive comment can come from. Came on Sunday sat at the bar and still took about 10-15 minutes to be greeted by the bartender. Finally was able to order two drinks and chips and salsa. Salsa and drinks were fine. Chips were unsalted and greasy and that was the end of any service we received, no touch back for 40 minutes +. No asking if we wanted more food or drinks. We wanted to order more food but bartenders could not be bothered. Finally I asked for my check which the response was silent and seemingly as that I was a bother to even ask for it."
"We've been wanting to try this place for years but their hours can make that a bit of a challenge with our schedule. Lunch today worked out and the restaurant is wonderful to dine in. Beautiful, colorful decor. Fantastic vibe. I had their traditional margarita and while it was good, didn't quite satisfy my margarita craving. We started with the guacamole/elotes trio. We were curious trying strawberries in guacamole and it works so well. The chips are superior to most other restaurant chips and are perfect for dipping. The ceviche was alright but probably wouldn't order again with so many other options to choose from. The tuna tostada was well-balanced and delicious. Our fish tacos were really good; large pieces of fish that felt light. Only drawback was we would've like a little more crunch from the delicious cabbage topping. The shrimp bowl was definitely worth getting but not after all the amazing food we had before it arrived, had to take almost all of it home. Next time I'd get it by itself so I could eat the whole thing fresh. We finished with the flan and it was different than any flan we've had before. Wonderful flavors not just drowned out by sweetness like we've experienced elsewhere. Our server Yarjelis was amazing!"
"Our server was the best, super attentive, friendly and consistently checking in with us. We had ordered a pitcher of margaritas along with 3 types of tacos to share. The steak, carnitas and diablo shrimp were all fantastic. The shrimp were the perfect spicy addition to our shared dinner. Oh, the taquitos were delicious, super crispy and served with 2 sauces, I highly recommend."
"Solid experience. I've been here a number of times. Tacos are tasty, and the food is fresh and inventive, without trying too hard. The server forgot half of our order, but life goes on, we just ordered some other items instead. They didn't mischarge us, just forgot to put through a couple apps and sides. I'll be back."
"This upscale Mexican restaurant in the downtown Naperville area has a great vibe. Easy to reach and plenty of parking, a perfect destination for that taco craving (no quiero Taco Bell)! The starter chips was a bit stale, lost a bit of its crunch but the homemade bean dip was very good! There are 2!tacos per order, too bad they dont have a sampler taco so i could try more tacos, so i ordered the shrimp and the cecina (marinated thin sliced steak). The shrimp was excellent, with creamy avacodo, chipotle mayo and crispy battered shrimp. The cecina had a unique touch. Usually just served with onions and cilantro. Quiubo uses jicama-chayote for that crunch and acidity. Very good contrast of textures. I would have liked to have tried their al pastor and fish tacos, but imo the servings are one taco too much. Took home one of each of my order."
