Sun Shui Asian Kitchen & Sushi

"We’ve been exclusively going to Sun Shui for Chinese for close to 10 plus years now. They recently changed their menu dramatically, leaving our family less than impressed. Their normal above average Chinese food was suddenly just very average, which was disappointing. But the thing that got me to actually come and leave this review was the fact that we could not get anyone to answer the phone and take our take away order at 7pm tonight, a Thursday night. We tried ordering online and it said the restaurant was closed/not taking orders. So then we try calling, 5 times, with no one answering. We have no idea what is going on at Sun Shui, but tonight we tried a new Chinese restaurant in Arlington Heights and we were impressed after being let down the last few times we have tried to order from Sun Shui."

"Great food & a fast thinking crew. We went on a Sunday afternoon - the wait staff had called off. The crew worked together to take care of customers & made sure everything was as requested. Great place to eat & good service even when having to adjust for being shorthanded. We can't wait to go back!"

"First time here and everything was top notch. Egg roll was 8/10. Hot and Sour soup was excellent along with Won Ton soup. Potstickers were better than good. Mongolian shrimp excellent as was the walnut shrimp. The waiter wasn’t overly friendly but he did everything right. I would come back in a minute! Like to try the sushi."

"We’ve been a few times and enjoy it always. Today, we got the Pepper Beef and General Tso’s Chicken. We also had the Smokey Roll to start. I would order all three dishes again. The roll was so good, it made me wonder if I need to do all sushi on the next trip. Nice ambiance. (Picture below is half eaten, which doesn’t do the presentation justice)."
